Well Hell
Look, let’s just make this easier and give Putin the keys to the country.
Get a load of this: Conservatives want Trump to pardon the 13 Russians. Yeah, and Mike Flynn, and Manafort, and George Papadopoulos, and Rick Gates, and two hookers in Des Moines, Iowa, and that guy who shot the bald eagle and then ran over it several times in his all terrain vehicle. (Okay, so maybe not the last two, but who the hell knows?)
“I think he should be pardoning anybody who’s been indicted and make it clear that anybody else who gets indicted would be pardoned immediately,” said Frederick Fleitz, a former CIA analyst and senior vice president at the conservative Center for Security Policy.
Their theory is that if everybody knows they are going to get a pardon, then they won’t squeal on higher-ups and we can just declare that America is a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Duma.
Some conservatives think it would be wiser for Trump to wait until after the mid term elections. Here’s that reasoning brought to you by the alt-right.
Even some conservatives who support pardons in principle are wary of the severe political backlash they are certain to trigger. Mike Cernovich, a prominent alt-right activist, said he believes the moment for pardons has passed and that Trump needs to wait until after the November mid-term elections.
“If the Democrats take over, pardon everyone,” Cernovich said. “They’re coming for you anyway. They have their nuke with impeachment. You have your nuke with pardons. And then settle in for an interesting two years.”
I love how destroying democracy is their idea of “interesting.” Boy, they must think cock fighting is “a delightful fifteen minutes.”

Just In Case You’ve Been Missing Louie
So, have you been wondering what’s up with Louie Gohmert?
Well, he ain’t spending all his campaign money on barbeque.
He’s been saving some for his favorite organization – the NRA.
Campaigns for Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) have both spent at least $1,000 on NRA dues. Gohmert’s campaign paid the organization $1,500 in 2016, while Blunt’s campaign spent $1,000 on dues in 2010.
The rules say that members of congress cannot pay for memberships in organizations unless it’s an organization they wouldn’t join unless they were an elected official.
So, that right a there is a good enough reason to vote against Louie. The NRA won’t get any more money.
Thanks to everybody for the heads up.
Hey, DC Politicians – The Kids are Coming for You
Saturday, March 24, Washington DC. This will be the scene of the March for Our Lives, and organization started by the high school kids who survived the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last Wednesday in Parkland Florida. Inaction by craven politicians like John Cornyn, Ted Cruz, and many others have put our children’s lives at risk by allowing easy access to weapons of war by criminals and the mentally unstable. If you doubt the intensity of this effort, I encourage you to watch this.
He’s Drinking Heavily Now
Yesterday, “Commie Don” Trump tweeted this load of crap —
Oops.
Look what Customer Deb found — (Click on the graphic to see the big one.)
And —
According to the Los Angeles Times, Trump traveled to New Hampshire in January 2014 to speak at a breakfast series for possible presidential candidates.
Seems to me like those dates line up pretty nicely. Thank you, Commie Don.
Thanks to Deb for the heads up.
George P. Bush’s House Problem
I don’t think that George P. Bush, being a Bush, actually needs money, so the scheme to buy his house in Austin is puzzling. Get a load of this deal – Bush wanted a house in Austin after he was elected Land Commissioner. So, he gets Brandon Steele, who also happens to employ Amanda Bush, GP’s wife, had his east Texas bank to loan GP $850,000 to buy said house. But that’s not all. The bank loaned the money not to GP, but to a Bush trust to conceal his ownership. AND, GP didn’t disclose the home or the loan on his financial disclosure required by law.
Ethics experts say that the scheme may be technically legal, but certainly violates the spirit of Texas’ ethics law, but he’s a Bush – what would you expect?
