Sally Yates will testify before the House.

The House Intelligence Committee announced on Friday that Yates will appear alongside former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan at an open hearing on May 2 to discuss Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

May 2nd.

And if we have any sommeliers out there – what wine accompanies rank espionage and popcorn?

Thanks to S Gray for the heads up.

Why Jon Ossoff Is Doing The Lord’s Work

April 21, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I think all of us should go make a $5 contribution to Jon Ossoff and here’s why.

I wasn’t very aware of who this Karen Handel woman is, but her name sounded familiar.  Remember the big blow-up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation?  Well, Karen was the sarcastic, mean, fool in the middle of it all.  She was forced to resign when the poop hit the fan.

Honey, let me tell you how worthless she is – she’s the poor man’s Sarah Palin. That’s how bad she is. She ran and lost the Republican nomination for governor in 2010 and the United States Senate in 2014 (where Sarah Palin endorsed her).  Most Republicans think her name ID – even from losing races  – pushed her to the top of GOP heap in the congressional race.

She supports a wall dividing us from Mexico wants to repeal Obamacare.

She served for a brief time as Georgia’s Secretary of State before she stepped down to run for Governor and even her fellow Republicans say she has ethics problems.

• She was slapped down three times by the courts, including a unanimous decision by the State Supreme Court, for wrongly attempting to remove a Democratic candidate from the 2008 ballot.

• She was slammed by both the Bush and Obama Justice Departments for attempting to purge voters from being eligible to vote by using voter registration flagging tactics, which unfairly targeted “certain demographics”.

She supports Donald Trump.  Look who signed this fundraising letter than went out today.

Honey, she’s a mess with frizzy ends on top.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

It’s Understandable

April 21, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions from Alabama disregarded the judicial ruling from Judge Derrick Watson about the Muslim travel ban by saying …

I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the president of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and constitutional power …

Now I don’t dismiss Jeff Sessions because he’s from a hellhole in the middle of the dirty south.  I dismiss him because he’s an idiot.

However, there may be a good reason why Sessions was confused about Hawaii.  Hawaii didn’t become a state until 1958 and Jeff Sessions thinks we’re still living in 1957.

I wonder if there’s any other states Sessions wants to exclude from being legitimate members of the Union.  Oh yeah, wait. Forget I said that.

By the way, this is the same Judge Derrick Watson that Sessions voted to approve while he was in the Senate.

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

Cheeto Jesus, Sarah Palin, Ted Nugent, and Kid Rock defiling the White House.  Washington and Lincoln must be turning over in their graves.

Clarence Thomas is a Lonely Jerk

April 20, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Ever since Scalia died and added his soul crushing bones to the pits of hell, poor Claence Thomas has been forced to face his jerkness all alone.

Example:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday invalidated a Colorado scheme that forced defendants whose convictions have been tossed or overturned to jump through several legal hoops before they could get back any fines or restitution they may have paid out before they were cleared.

In short, defendants who had their convictions overturned had to sue in state civil court to get their restitution payments back.  In civil court, the burden shifts and they have to prove they are innocent instead of the other way around.  In very short, it’s just a way to scam money from people unjustly convicted.

It was a 7 – 1 decision.

Yeah, Clarence Thomas feels that unjustly convicted people have no right to escape their punishment.  I’m not kidding.

The lonely dissent was by Justice Clarence Thomas, who said both Ginsburg and Alito’s analyses got it wrong, and contested that the defendants in the case had “a right to an automatic refund.” He wrote that the majority’s conclusion lacked a basis in federal or state law.

 Clarence, you damn fool.
