That Doesn’t Help Much, But Thanks For Offering

In case you were thinking about leaving the country if Donald Trump is elected President, you might want to go ahead and avoid the rush at the passport office.

Screen Shot 2016-03-14 at 8.32.39 AMOne day after he officially endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, former rival Ben Carson said he would be “willing” to be his vice president.

Asked at a Republican Party fundraiser in Broward County, one of the biggest counties in Florida, whether he would be amenable to the No. 2 slot, Mr. Carson said, “I’ve told Mr. Trump that if it was really going to make a big difference I’d be willing to.”

Look, I’m not saying that this would be the most insane ticket in the history of the whole damn United States of America, but … wait, that’s exactly what I’m saying.

I will admit that Ross Perot and Admiral James Stockdale came close …

but even they didn’t tell people to hit each other.

Hey, Dr Stabby McGrifter! Yes, more campaign would be a great way to sell more books to the last three credulous people who didn’t make it to church while you were in town.

But the Trump voters, they’re not generally your type of people. I’m not saying, I’m just saying.

  2. Since Adm James Stockdale isn’t available, being dead and all, I’d have to think Dr McStabby is the definitive insane veep choice.

I can get there in about 15 mins, even obeying the speed limit.

That canny Doc just wanted to get his bid in ahead of The Fat Man. Biggest disappointment going to residents of NJ who have so hoped to be rid of Christie sooner rather than later.

Oh, please, Donny boy, make Ben Carson your veep choice!

Hey, they can’t win. And if they do, they will be the last republicans elected in America.

apparently not, since they keep voting for him. I have to assume the majority of NJ voters like what he brings. either that, or they’re all brain-dead. i’m certainly amenable to brain-dead, but I will need some proof.

What Juanita Jean Herownself said about Drumpf and Crooze with a whole lot more WTH concerning Loathsome Ted Crooze and Gnarly Failurina. Teddie is threatening to include all the losers in his administration.

Ted wants all the losers to unite behind his campaign. Not a chance Ted, especially if Herr Drumpf gets his head out of his posterior and realizes all the dirty tricks he is falsely accusing Sec/Sen Clinton and Sen Sanders are traced back to you.

Seriously, folks. Smell a rat? Odds are the rat is Loathsome Ted Crooze. Let’s hope all those FOIA requests concerning Teddie’s ‘citizenship’ are completed soon.

Remember how Dubya was selected twice? We cannot risk either Drumpf or Crooze sneaking into the Oval Office in a similar fashion. I don’t care what the snacilbupeR do at their convention. What we cannot risk is any of their anointed surviving in a general election.

  8. At the beginning of carson’s run I asked here if anyone knew why he quit his prestigious position at Harvard in his early 60s since people like Dr. DeBakey usually prefer to work into old age in the field that they have trained for and are at the top of the profession.
I’m sad that my opinion then has only been reinforced of his losing enough of his marbles and had to retire.

Carson claims he wanted to retire while at the top of his game. He was also sued for malpractice 6-8 times in 30 years. He split the difference and quit half way through so he can earn rilly big bucks grifting.

    9
  10. Cruz is the VP choice who would scare me the most.

Partly because some people actually vote for him.

Partly because he looks like the first five seconds of the face-melting scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The debate that Admiral Stockdale participated in was a disaster. He was unprepared and obviously confused. What a shame that his background as a true hero was preempted by that event. Read his history – 7 years as a POW where he was brutalized. Read his bio – a man to be admired.

It just might be that after the RKlan convention takes away the candidacy from Drumpf, Carson and Christie will be shunned as well for having aided and abetted The Thugster. Cruz may end up being the nominee, and so far, Mike Lee appears to be the only Senator to have endorsed him. Expect Drumpfy to run 3rd party and ruin the Rethugs chances. At least that’s what I’m hoping.

    13
  14. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Thus far, no one other than Loathsome Ted Crooze his own self has certified his eligibility to become President. Let’s see your documents, Teddie. That lack of documentation should cost you your Senate seat, too.

    14
  15. Drumpf’s VP pick would be important if (shudder) he were elected. It needs to be somebody the GOP Congress would tolerate having in charge if they summon up enough decency to impeach Drumpf.

Or the American people could come to their senses and vote for Democrats, Congress included.

    15
  16. Maryelle, right in there with you. Have been thinking that from the beginning. No one on this planet is special enough for El Donaldo for business or political purposes. He is a one man band from day one. Losers need not apply.
