The definition of marginalia has traditionally referred to notes in the margins of books and journals. Today, it also refers to the weirdos, gangsters, and cronies surrounding the new, er, uh…(urp) president.
How about we get Preet Bharara as a Special Prosecutor in the Russian Trump trial I think is coming up.
1El Jefe, please add Sebastian Gorka to the list. Gorka is an alleged member of the Historical Vitézi Rend. He is Donnie’s counter-terror advisor and the likely source of Donnie’s affection for enhanced interrogation torture techniques such as waterboarding. Sort of explains why Donnie doesn’t listen to General Mattis as to the use of torture being an ineffective tool. Not that “effective” is a detour around flat out illegal even as twisted by John Yoo, Alberto Gonzales and the rest of Dubya’s legal beagles.

The thought of Preet Bharara as a special prosecutor for any part of the Drumpf continuing criminal conspiracy not only fills my heart with a happy little song, but puts a tear in my eye. Usually Karma takes the long way round before she kicks your a$$. Not so with this.

7If I were the African people in charge of the treasure house of raw materials that is the African continent, I’d hold the meeting in my selected place and NO European, Chinese, Russian, or Americans would be allowed to attend.

Agree with you, WA Skeptic, but in so many areas the African people cannot seem to get past tribal warfare, and that will keep Africa from ever achieving what could be. PBS recently aired a series about African civilization, and it was a real eye-opener for me. No history book used in this country talks about African history, save Egypt. I was shocked to discover that so many African leaders enslaved their own citizens, even before the Europeans got involved in that practice.
I will fight to keep PBS and NPR funded to my last dying breath.
11El Jefe, another observation about marginalia in regard to Orange Foolius, with all due apologies to Mama, my Mama, and the ladies of the WMDBS. There’s a marked resemblance between what Donnie has done to the term and what Rick Santorum brought to his own name courtesy of Dan Savage’s astute observation and efforts. With the Donnie administration, marginalia is a term that evokes STDs and an urgent visit to a doctor for massive does of all known antibiotics and those yet to be discovered.
