Honey, He Wouldn’t Be Stable Even If You Mounted Him On A Tripod

Donald Trump certainly pushes the boundaries of the collective hunch called reality.

So nobody is surprised that …

Lawmakers concerned about President Donald Trump’s mental state summoned Yale University psychiatry professor Dr. Bandy X. Lee to Capitol Hill last month for two days of briefings about his recent behavior.

In private meetings with more than a dozen members of Congress held on Dec. 5 and 6, Lee briefed lawmakers — all Democrats except for one Republican senator, whom Lee declined to identify. Her professional warning to Capitol Hill: “He’s going to unravel, and we are seeing the signs.”

Honey, his hair alone is a pretty good sign that his elevator doesn’t go all the way to the penthouse.

I think it’s great that Dr. Lee talked for two days but, actually, how many ways can you say “something ain’t right with that boy.”

Thanks to everybody for the heads up.

  1. A bag of fries short of a Happy Meal?

Three bricks short of a full wall?

  2. We all know he’s not the sharpest spoon in the drawer, but so what? Doesn’t mean a thing unless a majority of GOP in Congress or the Cabinet agree that he needs to go, and they’re happy enough with their bratty figurehead.

JJ, I’m sure you meant the headline to read “Honey, He Wouldn’t..” instead of “Honey, He Would…” But I think we all understand the point!

  4. This situation disappoints me all the more with snacilbupeR. On the one hand you have several NOT running again due in part to their fear of a voter backlash against Drumpf defeating them in the primary or he general. On the other hand there’s these glass bowls like Corker who in spite of opposing Drumpf voted “yea” on the tax fraud bill because part of it makes him (Corker) even richer.

I wish a lingering death on these snacilbupeR. One that empties the coffers of their ill-gotten gains before mortality finally knocks on the door.

Minor quibble (just the once-upon-a-time copy editor in me talking), but shouldn’t the headline read “He Would be UNstable…”?

  6. JJ, don’t you mean…wouldn’t be stable?

Micr, too kind – let’s RICO the last dime out of all their accounts, onshore and off, then may they die waiting for some faith based magic soup.

  8. He ain’t right. Concise and the truth.
Also leaves no room for ambiguity.

Thanks for the heads up. I’m still on lots of drugs.

Ms. Juanita Jean Herownself, you’d make better sense under full anesthesia than any Republican. That crowd that appeared on the cable TV machine to defend Donnie the past 24 hours sounded like they’d stolen your take-home drugs and washed them down with multiple mason jars of moonshine. Haven’t been Gish Galloped and gaslighted to that extent since they packed old Kellyanne Conway in moth balls. Mooch was back. Think he did a card trick for Stephanie Ruhle, but she was polite and pretended he didn’t drop the cards and drool on himself.

  11. Ah, multiple mason jars of moonshine…remember those days well (high school). Didn’t use them to wash down take home drugs however.

Going to unravel? Traitor trump’s warp and woof have long ago parted company. He is a clear and present danger to the United States of America. Traitor trump must be removed from office before his insanity starts the last war this planet will ever see. His greed and stupidity are reason enough for removal from office. The damage he has done will require generations to repair if earth can be repaired at all. If there is a history, trump will be in it as a vile destructive madman kept in office by soulless, greedy sub-humans. May they all rot from the inside out in their $10,000 suits.

  13. I still remember the delegation from the Hill that dropped in on Nixon at 1600 and had a little chat with him. He subsequently resigned. What I really need to recall are the reasons that group presented to the Dick. What were the magic words? Might they be used again? But,hey, I can dream, can’t I? Even in the middle of a developing nightmare. No one is going to come from the Hill with an R attached to their name until all the stars align on shared plans of Hill and White House are the magic One. That leaves out love of country. But you already knew that.
