I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

2Perception is one helluva damn thing. Five people in one room looking at only one thing will all see it differently, no matter what. Their upbringing, culture, tax bracket, even IQ all play a part as to whatever differences may occur in their perceptions. Now, if that item were to be on fire, I would bet they would all perceive the same damn thing! But if that is what it takes these days, things are going to remain severely hot and definitely smokey!
3The question of perception at least allows a “oh wait, if I flip this, I could see it like that” kind of possibility. GOPs are more like the “define π as 3” mode: Ignorance that will lead to disaster if implemented in the real world. And I would posit Hair Furor as exhibit ‘A’ of that relevance/outcome…
4The other difference is that if you try to argue against that thing being a four, you’ll get death threats, rape threats if you’re female, other gross insults, and possibly bullets.
