White privilege in sentencing, plus 3 years seems light when weighed against a lifetime of crime. However, if Mike Flynn receives 0 prison, Cohen’s sentence is harsh considering Flynn’s threat to national security, treasonous activities with Russia and the conspiracy to kidnap a cleric.
To date we only have glimpses of snippets as to the cards Mueller holds. But if courtesy of Flynn a whole bunch of people named Trump, including Donnie, don’t expire in the slammer, it will be disappointing. A “deal” is not a deal, if in exchange for Flynn’s sorry ass we don’t collect a dozen asses in return, maybe 20. Flynn’s crimes were not little.

For better or worse he lost his client.
We can only hope that in this instance the old (roasted) chestnut applies – knowledge is power. Cohen never looked like the sharpest attorney on the block, but maybe what counts, in the end, is all in the paperwork and on tape.

8Cohen was never the prey here. He got an appropriate sentence, all things considered.
Manafort, now that sprightly lad will die in prison after all his shenanigans.

10Re Flynn, I hope the judge gives him some time and wish Flynn Jr faced some as well (his smug tweets are infuriating). But even if the judge gives Flynn no time, he should at the very least be made to issue sincere apologies to Hillary for the “lock her up” crap, and to the American people for his crimes/treason. In writing. Maybe a thousand times, on a blackboard.
Cohen? He deserves more time. Did I miss it or was there any monetary penalty on top of prison? And yes, bigger fish had better fry for the leniency to both men.
