And He Could Count The Attendees On His Tiny Little Fingers
The Mother of all Rallies in honor of Donald Trump on the Washington Mall was not as successful as Trump supporters had hoped – all 150 of them.
The rally was proudly designed to support Trump and “defend American culture.”
and here ya go —-
The Trump and defensive about American culture people were outnumbered by Juggalos. Â Do not ask me what they are because I have had it explained to me and I still don’t get it. You’re just gonna have to look it up on your own.
It’s just another Saturday in DeeCee.
Bigger than the inauguration crowd?
1Ms. JuanitaJean Herownself, “Juggalos” are music fans as benign as any music fans. Think the “deadheads” followers of the Grateful Dead or those pesky music fans who follow “Burning Man” events. Music and good times.
Juggalos are the fans of the band Insane Clown Posse. The band has been around since the 90s. A rose is a rose … but for some insane reason the Donnie supporters perceive them as a mockery of Dolt45. In some ways understandable. Insane Clown Posse would, if not already taken, would be an apt name for Donnie and his deplorable.
But taking offense where none was ever intended, that’s what nut Job Wingers do. Great leap, if one is to grant prescient powers to the band such that they KNEW 37 years ahead of time that Donnie would become pResident.
Basically the right wing conspiracy morons vs good music. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insane_Clown_Posse
“Chicken Huntin” is a really good song. But I can understand why it might upset the fragile white supremacist deplorable. The lyrics: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/insaneclownposse/chickenhuntin.html
Basic background is that the religious wrong and the Kluckers have attempted to label the band and their fans as thugs. So now there is mounting pushback to correct the record.
2Jane & PKM – I’m no Juggalo myself (closer to a Deadhead, so I don’t judge them, anyway). However, from reporting I’ve seen, the timing of the events has nothing to do with any real or perceived conflict of Juggalo vs Trumpanzee.
Apparently, the Juggalos (Juggaloes? spelling uncertainty) are protesting being officially designated by the FBI as a “gang”, like the Bloods, Crips, or MS-13, etc. The designation is ridiculous. My general impression is that while they may be less, shall we say, “mellow” than the Dead fans I attended shows with (& to be clear, almost EVERYONE is less “mellow” than that, including me these days) the Juggalos are still just music fans. No more rowdy overall than punk fans in mosh pits, & maybe even less so.
And, before any of us rush to judgment re the Trumpsky Just-us Dept culture war, it seems this designation occurred in 2011. I.e., first term of Obama. Remember Tipper Gore & parental guidance stickers for music? Or how Elvis could only be televised from the waist up for fear of causing riots? Judging “kids” for their silly style choices in music & otherwise has a long (& bipartisan) history in our country.
Plenty of legitimate reasons to complain & criticize Trumpsky & his Trumpanzees. No need to make any up. We’re the “reality based community”, after all.
😀
3And, it just occurred to me, if the Juggalos are just now getting around to protesting a designation made 6 years ago they may actually be a LOT more mellow (or at least disorganized) than I’d imagined. Which makes the designation that much MORE ridiculous.
;-D
Could it really take 6 years to get a permit for a DC protest? I wouldn’t think so…
4Pretzelogic in Philly, that is exactly the point: “… the Juggalos are still just music fans.” All the attempts including the FBI attention is to brand the Insane Clown Posse and their fans as anything beyond musical is absurd. Why didn’t they protest six years ago? Probably because they laughed it off and didn’t feel threatened. Reasonable. But times have changed under Donnie and Jeffie, when bands and their fans are under attack. Seriously, to understand the level of threat, just look at the behavior of Donnie and his maladministration and followers toward the media. Look at their treatment directed toward CNN reporter Jim Acosta or Katy Tur from NBC. Unbelievable! 😉
5So . . . It was a day of Clowns on the Mall. Cool . . .
6Jane & PKM, no opinion on the Insane Clown Posse’s music, but those lyrics you linked to are some ugly frackin’ lyrics. I’d be a bit concerned. And I have no desire to listen to it.
There was a group performing in DC some years ago called the Screaming Libidos. Never heard them, almost certainly didn’t want to, but the name amused me.
Seems to me that the Deadheads and Parrotheads have better music, but I’m mostly a folkie anyway. (“We will, we will folk you….”)
7Rhea, my bad. Alone the lyrics are perhaps a bit stark. I should have included a link to the full music. Please give it a try. You can always opt out after the first few notes.

Maybe a mellower tune would be from Billie Holliday, but the message remains the same with Strange Fruit. What I marvel at is the patience of POC then and now.
8With regards to why Juggalos took 6 years to protest, I read (I think on Politico) that many have been denied employment, military service, and even been fired from jobs because of their affiliation with a group designated by the F.B.I. to be on par with the crips or bloods. I’d be pissed off too.
9Miss JJ, as far Donnie counting crowd size, any time he has to take off his shoes and socks for higher countin capacity, it’s a yuge success. Bigly.
Various national media outlets had photos of sites common to both MOAR and the Women’s March. The contrast was beautiful and an accurate illustration of Orange Whore’s following.
