You know the GOP Senators who voted to raise the debt ceiling? Well, they simply do not approve of themselves.
Twenty-seven Republican senators voted with Democrats on Oct. 16 to lift the debt ceiling and avert a catastrophic default. And each one of those 27 senators voted Tuesday to “disapprove” of their own votes.
The vote Tuesday was a symbolic “resolution to disapprove” of the debt limit hike.
So, I suspect the means you can symbolically thumb your nose at them.
Don’t you just want to slap each and every one upside the head and just try to knock some sense in them? Bleah.
On the other hand, I just noticed this today. It put a smile on my face to see this New Jersey Democratic representative get really pissy at nonsense from one of his “distinguished colleagues” ….
“Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) rose from his seat on Tuesday during a congressional hearing into the Affordable Care Act’s problematic roll-out. He accused his Republican colleagues in the House of dishonestly seeking to identify the problems with the ACA because they would prefer to see it repealed entirely….”

1They’ve been riding that Tea Party tiger for four years now, and this is another desperate attempt to hang on a little longer.
2Is this like all those votes that were taken to “repeal the ACA” in that it is totally, and completely meaningless?
That “tea party tiger” they been riding is now, I think, that “tea party tiger…. they have by the tail”.
They can’t let go, and holding on…. is also going to be politically fatal.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of people.
