Y’all, Inhofe is Drunk Again

If you live in Oklahoma, flights of mental fantasy are the only way to entertain yourself.  Well, that and drinking too much, which is my theory about Republican Senator James Inhofe.

Okay, read this and try your damnest to tie it in a bow.

Two days after a lone white American gunman killed more than 58 people in Las Vegas, what is now considered one of the deadliest mass shootings in modern US history, Inhofe said the country is “inundated with permissive laws” — like those in “sanctuary cities” where local law enforcement doesn’t enforce all federal immigration laws — perpetuating the “cultural problem” behind mass shooting.

“That has a lot more to do with [mass shootings] than gun owners laws,” Inhofe told me. “You can go ahead and break a law and you can come to a sanctuary city, and they wouldn’t enforce the laws.”

So sanctuary cities cause mass murder?  Because the shooter thinks he can run somewhere where mass murder is legal?  Like, say, I dunno … Ohio?

He drinks too much.  Waaaaaaaay too much.

  1. Yup boys not in his right mind.
He’s another classic case of Wingnut extremism, a dangerous contagious deadly disease caused by the fear and hatred of ‘the Others’.

Bigotry – Fear and Hate of anyone who does not look, think, act, or believe like you do.
Racial, religious, moral, and political etc. bigotry are some of the more common harmful symptoms.

  3. Immigrants without a social security number already live in a house with 12 people, so probably wouldn’t notice if a white millionaire, the next one who manages to make it out of his hotel suite after committing murder, comes to a sanctuary city and offers $100 a month to live in the closet.

    Is that about right Inhofe?

Inhofe had NO problems with violating FAA flight laws, rules, and regulations himself, endangering a number of runway workers.
Inhofe landed his Cessna twin on a clearly marked, closed runway at the Port Isabel, TX airport (KPIL, a former WWII aux field), barely missing a work crew that had to run for their lives.

Faced with disciplinary action, Inhofe then originated and got passed a weakening of FAA oversight on private pilots, endangering all of us (ala Trumpian-style pique and payback, it’s what they do). They all get a “feeling of desperation” when criticized or corrected, and their feefees are hurt so bad.

Curiously, the Wiki page for the Port Isabel-Cameron County Airport is no longer there (it used to be).

“On October 21, 2010, at the age of 75, Inhofe landed his Cessna on a closed runway at a south Texas airport, scattering construction workers who ran for their lives. In a recorded telephone call, the men’s supervisor told the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that Inhofe “scared the crap out of” the workers, adding that the Cessna “damn near hit” a truck.
And the airport manager, also speaking to the FAA in a recorded telephone call, opined: “I’ve got over 50 years flying, three tours of Vietnam, and I can assure you I have never seen such a reckless disregard for human life in my life. Something needs to be done. This guy is famous for these violations.”[98]

In response to the incident, Inhofe stated that he “did nothing wrong”, and accused the FAA of “agency overreach” and causing a “feeling of desperation” in him.
He agreed to take a remedial training program, and the FAA agreed not to pursue legal action against him if he took the program.
In July 2011, Inhofe introduced a bill to create a “Pilot’s Bill of Rights” which he said would increase fairness in FAA enforcement actions.[99] The bill was passed in 2012.[100]”

Now, now – there’s plenty wrong with my home state of Ohio, but mass murder is not currently legal here. PLEASE DON’T GIVE MY REP ANY IDEAS. xD

  9. These republican politicians sold their souls cheap. They can not justify their actions with a reasonable explanation. They can not tell the truth because they would get voted out of office. But they can’t even make up a rational lie without sounding crazy. Is that it…they are……actually mentally ill.

  10. I’m just wondering how long it’s gonna take for some repugnantcan to somehow blame the Las Vegas massacre on Obamacare.

Good ole Sen Inhofe. He has about one and a half working brain cells. These rethugs have sold themselves to the NRA, big polluters and every type of scum around. Sadly, now they are the most immoral group of critters that can be found. A true study in greed, hate, bigotry and fear.

  14. This is the moron with his head up his butt who thinks that throwing a snowball in the Senate chamber proves that climate change is a myth. So he’s got no connection between the contents of his skull and reality anyway, and nothing he says could surprise me unless it were rational and sane.

If I develop telekinesis and can give somebody a fatal heart attack over the internet, he’s high on the list.

    14
  15. As an Okie, I apologize for our senior Senator. I never vote for him but somehow he gets re-elected every time. Allegedly he suffers from dementia and is protected by his staff. He never debates his opponents for that reason.

  17. Yeah! He’s the one who threw a snowball in giving a speech in the Senate. It was supposed to be his sneer at climate change. Well, darn. So he has dementia? Who’da guessed it!
