Worst Threat Ever

September 20, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Florida Republican State Senator Jack Latvala doesn’t take guff off anybody.

He’s a stand-up guy who will tell you how the cow ate the cabbage.

Florida state senator [Latvala] who is running for governor said this week that he would punish Duke Energy for its slow response after Hurricane Irma by refusing their donations for one campaign cycle.

“In this cycle,” Latvala told the Times, “I’m done taking money from them.”

Well, that’ll show ‘um, dammit.

Rep. Chris Sprowls (R) also promised to “ask a lot of difficult questions.”

And there will be no grading on the curve.

Thanks to SGray for the heads up.

Wonkette uses the term “A-idiot”. Know what that is? Look at the pic above. He is A-idiot.

Duke Energy’s “slow response”?!! What does he think? They just put in some new batteries and hit a switch? And thanks, Jack, for insulting all of those men and women in the hot FL sun putting up new poles and stringing new wire. And a special thanks for insulting all the crews from all over the country who are down there to help.

Sorry Momma, but this guy is a stupid ass!

  2. I’m glad I don’t have a solar-powered home in Florida. I would pop quite a number of gaskets over this. And I’d get a really big hammer.

  3. Let’s see… he’s NOT going to accept their donations? Does that mean he’s not going to do their bidding? And if he’s expressly linking their donations to his votes, isn’t that awful close to admitting to accepting bribes?

As to the FPL situation, that’s just another symptom of how “thank God for Florida” is taking over from “thank God for Mississippi” as the Texas motto.

  4. Maybe instead of fixing downed power lines, Duke Energy could work on repealing Obamacare 50 times. Or pass state laws to restrict voters from voting.

  5. @Rhea – Mona is a friend of mine! We went to the same church until her husband passed and she moved to an elder community. She is full of piss and vinegar and a HOOT to be around!

I’m sure she’d come on down to Florida and whack a few keyboards for you!

  6. I prefer a 39-inch cut of 2×4 for focusing attention, although as I age, I won’t rule out using a hammer to focus attention. I come by this honestly. My sainted father carried the shaft of a 2-iron throughout much of his military career, 1942-1969. His officer corps, including a youthful Cpt Al Gray, spoke of his excellent results.

  7. So the “refused” money goes to PAC ads on his behalf and Floridians are supposed to be impressed?

  8. @Malarkey, Sorry to hear about Mona’s husband; he sounded like a hoot too. When the reporter asked if he tried to stop her going back to Comcast with her hammer, he said, “Oh, no, no.” Just sorry she went after the Manassas office and not the local one here in Maryland. Give her a hug or high five or whatever she’d like from me next time you see her. We need more like her to put some fear into these arrogant people!

  9. Just this one cycle? Oh, I am so overwhelmed. What a man, what a man!
