Well, Here’s a Fun One

August 02, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Sometimes I deeply enjoy watching people throw their money away.  You know, if they are Republicans.

Here you have one of those fake Ted Cruz PACs called “TAKE BACK DC ACTION”  And here’s a list of the fools who donated $77,544 to a fake PAC.

Write that down somewhere so if you ever need a list of fools, they’ve already prepared one for you.

And how do we know that it’s a fake PAC?  Not one dime went to an independent expenditure for Ted Cruz.  It all went to fundraising more money.

Isn’t that cool?  Republicans throwing their money away.

Keep up the good work, Boys.

Be social and share!

  1. The more they throw away the less there is to spend on real PAC’s. Idiots.

    Typical Cruz.

  3. Elizabeth Moon says:

A lot of ‘information requested” listings there. Are they really going to get employer/occupation information from all those? Or ignore the law, like good little Republicans?

  4. Ironically even when Repubs win the big ones (Dubya) they lose. Just about everyone, including businesses and rich, do better under Dem administrations. Tax cuts for the rich definitely give them a bigger slice of the pie, but it’s a smaller pie when the middle class doesn’t have much to spend.

  5. Hmmmmm. I thunk a thought. Is this one way to launder $$$?

    5
  6. I was reading yesterday about a Ted Cruz Super-PAC that ended up giving its money to Carly Fiorina. This would be entertaining if it was just on TV and not actually happpening in the real world.

    6
  7. Palin has been doing this for years—–when the room gets too hot though, she throws a couple percents out to shut people up while she grifts on.

  8. Fred Farklestone says:

Here’s one of the companies that spend a lot of Cruz’s money, they have some fantastic clients!

  9. Mah Fellow Murkuhn says:

Lots of retirees on that list, many of them with many donations. Lots of grifters target the elderly and scam them for lots of money. I’ve had that problem with my mother, although with her it’s not political contributions, but mostly from evil people who claim to be saving social security for her. Plus a few who want to give her a new car, and all she has to do is pay some admin fees. I would not be amazed to find that the same scammers are collecting contributions to PACs.

    9
  10. What surprised me is that I saw only one charge of $325 for attys fees – that is about 1 minute of time for those lobbyists.

  11. JAKvirginia says:

Right Elizabeth Moon! And let’s not forget that the R’s in Congress are investigating the IRS for doing their job to stop organizations like this from getting tax-exempt status.

    11
  12. Ima gonna start me a “Gohmert Stop Insane Gubermint PAC” and get on this money making gravy train…

Hell with this working for a living BS…

    12
  13. Hollyanna says:

Please proceed, Republicans, to throw your money away on scam PACs. The Kochs have got this election covered.

    13
  14. Just read the article on OutSmart.com. Go Glenn Maxey!! Clever and insightful as ever J.J.!

    14
  15. Linda Phipps says:

And when they are done donating to Cruz-ish stuff, they can send the rest of their money to the Duggars. They put up a you-tube ad requesting. It might be taken down by now.

    15
  16. Some of those fools are more foolish than others. I skimmed the list for contributions of $1,000 or more, and it’s surprising how many of those people just kept cramming more money in the toilet.

Mah Fellow Murkuhn has a point — I wonder how many of those who contributed more than once just forgot and kept on going.

Dang, I’d be pretty happy if some fool sent me $1,000. Just one time is fine — I’m not greedy.

    16
  17. Mah Fellow Murkuhn says:

I noticed the guy in Pasadena who keeps giving a few hundred a month. Google Street shows the house, which isn’t exactly a mansion, and an old couple at the door. I’d bet a pretty penny they’re being scammed by this outfit, and probably many of the other donors. But then people who are willing to give their money to an organization that apparently advocates for Republican “values” don’t get much sympathy for me. I say apparently, because I have no idea what they advocate. The only exact hit for that PAC I could get on Google was – wait for it – Juanita Jean’s Beauty Salon. They apparently don’t even have a website, just a direct mail operation, and I’m not on their list.

Glug, glug , glug down the drain.

  19. Angelo_Frank says:

I like the ones throwing away $1k. One would think they would be better served giving it to a local charity to feed poor working people not the King of Christian Dominionism Ted (Raphael) Cruz.

    19
  20. My sister-in-law said when she took over her fathers finances there were monthly payments to several scam groups and when she asked him about it he told her he didn’t know what it was for but they sent him a bill and he always paid his bills. When the next “bill” came she said it actually looks like a real bill unless you look who it goes to.
There are probably lots of elderly people paying up every month because they get so many bills from Drs. etc. they just assume they owe it. Seriously slimy, preying on the elderly.

    20
  21. Marge Wood says:

Yep, bad. Y’all better come take care of me when I am all doddery. Some of the old folks though have to spend a certain amount from their IRAs and the scammers know that too.

We have a friendly scammer who calls periodically and tells us we have computer problems and they can fix our computers. If I answer, they hang up. They are why I have my own personal laptop that I growl if anyone but me uses. Always something new and exciting.

    21
  22. Linda Phpps says:

Marge, my husband tells them he doesn’t have a computer. My son screams at them. I am sorely tempted to ask, “which computer” and what passwords do you need?

    22
  23. Marge Wood says:

Oh, they’ll fix it all right. They screwed up my husband’s computer and he has spent a lot on getting it fixed. Then the problem spread to his laptop. They know where our computer is. It gives me the creeps. I used to stand next to him and scream while they talked to him. “DON’T TALK TO THEM, HANG UP.”

    23
  24. Wa Skeptic says:

When they somehow got my number and started calling me, I immediately launched into high volume screaming of language which would have had JJ’s Momma washing my mouth out. It only took three calls and they stopped calling me.

Very theraputic for me, if not them.
