Tricky Dick resigned on August 8, 1974.
Drumpf fired Comey, who definitely IS NOT an Archibald Cox, on May 9th, 2017.
Dare we look forward to Drumpf’s resignation on Monday, February 26, 2018?
1Trump isn’t ignoring history. You have to know about something before you can ignore it.
The irony is that Trump at one point promised Comey that his job was safe. At that point Comey should have started packing.
2The problem is, history is in the New York Times.
3Trump’s preferred “news” source, Fox, broadcasts fantasy by omission.
I miss Barbara Jordan and Leon Jaworski. It is times like these that I realize what heroes they were.

7fLike I said in previous posts, Trump is a Nixon re-run. Nixon was his own worst enemy. That goes double for Trump. What happens in the White House is definitely going to impact a GOP controlled Congress. When the critters on the Hill finally realize that the mess down the avenue is coming their way to bury the in sludge, no matter how high the levees they build, thats when they turn on this guy with the excuse that he has lost the confidence of the country. Yuck. Yuck.
8PS There will also be reaction from the rest of the world. Our friends will take a very careful step back. Our enemies will make up for that loss.
