Things You Did Not Need a Study to Know

Numero Uno:  “Donald Trump appeals to men secretly insecure about their manhood.”

Seriously, y’all, the Washington Bygawd Post did a story today telling us there’s now semi-scientific proof that men who are “secretly insecure about their manhood” just love Donald Trump.

No shoot, Sherlock, except I don’t see a damn thing about secretly.  Have you seen these men at Trump rallies? Honey, either they are older than rocks or totally unjumpable.  The young ones are men who don’t get to participate in ya-ya.  No joyful mattress thrashing in their lives.

Good Lord – next they’re going to have a study to see if Republican women are just mean.  Let me save them the trouble: Yes.  Yes, they are mean spirited people.

  1. Heh.

    No wonder I can’t stand him…

  2. Once upon a time, I read something that described a Republican as someone who could not enjoy a good meal unless they knew someone else was going hungry.

  3. Next up, an official dk-msring medical study.
Simple enough to set up and run: some database excel/access software, a few rulers, tape measures, and calipers, plenty of latex gloves; and of course, magnifying glasses for the Rethugs.

Around here various medical research groups even run TV ads looking for medical study participants for many conditions and treatments, paid positions too. A double-blind protocol would be a snap for this cohort. Give all of them a placebo and tell them it’s a ‘super-beta’ test trial. Hell, measure their BB-sized huevitos too (careful with those caliper jaws).
With the right ad pitch (FuxNooz/RWNJ radio) this study could be swamped with MAGAots looking to supplement their SS and get bragging rights (wholly imagined) back at teaparty meetings. Joe Sixpak becomes Sam Stretch.

  4. Trump is big with those “incel” guys, the ones who’re mad that they are involuntarily celibate because no woman in her right mind would let them anywhere near her lady garden. Yeah, those guys.

  7. That seems to be a thing with the Rs. W attracted all kinds of anxious, pasty, would-be frat boys, e.g. Rove & Culberson.

  8. Consider this. When the “grab em by the p*ssy” tape came out, Donnie just became a bigger douchebag.
    To us.
To the reprobates in that study?
Donnie achieved the status of a God.

  9. Yes, I noticed that when I was a sort of pioneer (a token woman in a previously only-male executive position. This was just after the civil rights act that included women.

I guarantee there’s a big Trump sticker on the back of that Hummer. You could use that caption for anybody wearing a MAGA hat too– “Now everybody will know.”

  11. A hummer with a demented donnie syicker.
    Call for the electron microscope.

  12. Somewhat off topic but —
I’ll bet I know something else that we don’t need a study for. Only I haven’t seen it reported anywhere except by implication. Yet.

    Whittaker is running scared.
When he applied for his current job via CNN — you know, that station that Trump never watches? But he still somehow managed to pick up on the fact that Whittaker had been blasting all over it that he would 1] squelch Mueller’s investigation and 2] convict Hillary? THAT CNN? He got that job he was angling for, all right, but — his timing was absolutely awful.

Because right then, the Democrats swept into power in the House.

And over the past two days, Manafort got shot down for feeding info to Trump while “cooperating” with the Special Counsel’s Office and Cohen was dragged into court to plead guilty AGAIN. This time for lying to Congress.

And Whittaker was conspicuously silent. AAmof, we got word today that Rosenstein is still in charge of the investigation. Wait, what?

Mueller has now confirmed that yes, he WILL convict people for lying to Congress — something which is not always prosecuted but will be this time around.

And the Democrats are shouting from the rooftops that, come January they WILL be issuing subpoenas — and this time, they will have teeth.

For the first time in his pitiful life, Whittaker has accurately assessed his situation and figured out that this might be a good time to sit down and shut up.

Proving, once again, elections have consequences.
    Thank God.

  13. As to whittaker…
Besides not being the sharpest knife in the drawer after revelations that mueller knew manaford was trying to play him and then played him in return ( WWII Brit. Double XX) can the fools representing demented donnie trust any info they get from whittaker?
Would the mueller team dare to blind whittaker to what they are really doing in a totally legal way?
of course he would to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
Whittaker has not only failed as a potential conduit of insider info from mueller but actually has become a liability, not just in competence and pr, but in whether he would even know what was going on inside the mueller investigation and in whether any information he has passed on can be trusted.
