The Donald Trump Lawyer Full Employment Bill

October 22, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Donald Trump goes around threatening everybody with lawsuits.  The latest is that “after the election” he’s going to sue all the women who say that he groped them.

Yeah, “after the election” is because those suits will immediately be thrown out of court.  That’s if he can find a lawyer to file them because the bar association takes frivolous lawsuits very seriously. He’s already admitted that he sexually assaults women so there you go.

But, just for fun, the kids over at Gizmoto have a “How Long Since Donald Trump Threatened Someone” Countdown Clock.

Side wagers are encouraged.

Thanks to Rick for the heads up.

Drumpf has spent 3 million on lawyers so far. No one seems to know what is up with that. Willard RMoney spent 1.1 mil in his run for the presidency last time.

  2. WA Skeptic says:

Not to worry–he’ll use the money in his phony “charity” to pay the lawyers.

  3. Would this embarrassment to our country please just go away…. (Really only an embarrassment to Republicans, but he’s so bloody loud that he gets lots of attention, like a screaming baby with a full diaper. Just like, actually.)

I enjoyed this 8-minute presentation on how Clinton’s debate strategy sprang repeated traps on Trump, causing him to gibber incoherently and leaving his campaign in smoking ruins:

  4. Anne O’Reilly, a lifelong Republican activist, was in the audience [at Gettysburg] waiting for Donald Trump to arrive Saturday morning. She remains hopeful that Trump can win the presidency but has no doubt what will happen if he doesn’t.

“I think it’s going to be an eggbeater in the Republican Party,” she said. “I think you’re going to see pieces going all over the place.”

  5. From Anne O’Reilly’s lips to God’s ears…the celestial eggbeater.

  6. two crows says:

Yesterday, I went to a new doctor. I had a whole lot of paperwork to fill out. ON EVERY DAMN PAGE, I wrote ’11’ for the date and had to change it to ’10.’ Every damn time.

I keep willing this election to be over and it just doesn’t happen.

When I mentioned my mistake to the receptionist at the desk and told her my theory as to why I kept doing that, she rolled her eyes and said, “You and me both, Honey.” The nurse, who happened to be in the area groaned, then burst out laughing.

Can’t we please move election day up to this coming Tuesday? I’ll bet if they took a vote it would pass unanimously.

    But then Trump would sue.

  7. At least Trump is threatening to sue more than he’s groping these days. His version of Hope & Change.

I’m guessing that the only people he hires, and pays, are lawyers!

  10. In this year, of all election years, the date is as late as it can possibly be…. I don’t know why it isn’t on Tuesday Nov 1.

That GOP eggbeater is a delightful mental image…. There goes a piece of McConnell, here comes a piece of Ryan, there’s a big ugly glob of Gohmert…. Reminds me of that exploding dead whale video, and about as smelly.

    10
  11. So if Trump doesn’t win Anne O’Reilly said “I think you’re going to see pieces going all over the place.”

And that’s different from now how?

    12
  12. “I’m guessing that the only people he hires, and pays, are lawyers!”

the only lawyers that will agree to represent him demand an up-front retainer, to be used against billable hours. at some point (and I wish I could find the link, but alas, no!), he made the mistake of screwing over a firm that was representing him on some breach of contract suit (wow, what a shock there!). attorneys, like doctors, cpa’s, architects, etc., all know each other and are members of the same clubs. word quickly spread among the firms (lawyers have bills to pay too), and it turns out that the “prestige” of being a Trump attorney doesn’t, by itself, pay bills and put food on the table.

I won’t be surprised if he finds an attorney (or attorneys) willing to file these suits (there are tons of graduates of 4th tier law schools desperate for work). I also won’t be surprised if most of them get tossed on summary judgment. I will be surprised if anyone loses their law license over it though. it turns out you have to really, really, really fuck up, for that to happen. you can almost always come up with some minimal “good faith” reason for filing the suit, and that’s all you need as a defense.

    ok, I have a question:

why would any self-respecting, non legitimately brain damaged woman, be a publicly admitted republican? are they masochistic by nature? were they horribly abused as children, as adults? what possible good reason could there be for this? especially if that woman is under the age of 85, maybe. someone help me out here, because I just don’t get it.

  13. Ralph Wiggam says:

Even if Trump sues, he can’t prove damages.

HE established his reputation as a sex predator and he can’t claim damage to that reputation caused by his victims. They simply confirm his reputation, not damage it.

  14. e platypus onion says:

Speaking of 11, Two Crows, an 11th woman came forward to accuse the Donald of naughty stuff. This one claims he offered her $5000 for sex. She is a porn star, btw. Not that that makes him any less sleazy. Still waiting for someone, anyone to file charges on behalf of groped daughter Ivanka.

    15
  15. e platypus onion says:

Partial correction. Jessica Drake, aka the pornstar, claims Drumpf offered her 10 grand for sex and the use of his jet.(whatever that means)

    16
  16. Marcia in CO says:

The Donald thinks he is going to be able to screw his accusers without actually taking them to dinner or touching them AGAIN!!
Before this threat to sue his accusers, he was threatening to sue the media that has been exposing him for the pile of crud that he is!!

    18
  17. Isn’t there some kind of limit to the number of nuisance lawsuits a person can file?

  18. JAKvirginia says:

cpinva: About women for Trump. Can’t help you there. Just an observation: They bought the myth. Young or old. Black or white. Male or female. They all give similar reasons for their support — no, I won’t list them all. Takes too much time. But they have ALL been debunked. Every. Single. One. And yet, they’re Trumo supporters. They bought the myth and NOTHING will disprove it.

In some ways I believe we are a nation of addicts. We get hooked too easily into things. Why? Beats me. I’ve been trying to figure that out for decades. Maybe the answer is too complex.

    20
  19. CPINVA, when you do find out let me know. I’m just as mystified as you are! By the by, I just returned from a trip out to the boonies. Passed through a very, very charming but alarmingly rich town on the way and saw only big Trump signs at one end of Main Street. Could only think that you would have be so rich you were totally and permanently isolated from the real world to be pro Trump. Just about six miles away from this town is another charmer and they are pro Hillary. They are right smack off a major east west national highway. they get a lot of the world coming to see them for gas, a cup of coffee, etc. And they don’t mind the world crossing their threshold. they rather enjoy it.

    21
  20. People get crazy desperate when their money supply is diverted to the rich. I think we’re in for some violence, not a full revolution.

We don’t need to be great, nor Number One. But we do need to rid ourselves of these corporate oligarch parasites.

cpinva, “women for Donnie” exist somewhere between the hell of Stockholm Syndrome and battered spouse syndrome. They’re not crazy, but in serious need of intervention and rescue.
