I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

7Speaking of Jon Stewart, his first film as a director, Rosewater, is out on DVD. I watched it over the weekend. It’s great, and not just because Shohreh Aghdashloo, one of my favorite actresses, plays the mother. See it!
8e platypus onion, the Arpaio family are Anglic immigrants. Joe’s branch of the family is an offshoot of a discarded petri dish that fell off a Conestoga wagon that later was mated with by a feral cat. One of that litter was left behind as being too crazy to be included in the family. As a straggler, the bizarre cat made it’s way to AZ, where it took up residence with a den of rabid coyotes. While details remain unclear, Joe found his way from the den to Phoenix and the rest is history. Unconfirmed, but also reported that Jan Brewer is related to the Arpaio den, the original trail went through TX and there are some Arpaios there, too, that bred with a gohmert.
9When Rick Perry is held up as an example of relative sanity, you know the cheese has fallen off the cracker.
PKM, the only flaw there is that I have too much respect for cats to believe that any cat had anything to do with Arpaio.

You know these “authorities” know this is a military exercise and no one is going to take over anything. I just can’t understand why they keep doing such stupid things. Keep the populace afraid and stirred up.
I’m glad I’m leaving Texas in the not too distant future.
