Ted Cruz

August 30, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

So I was watching the electric teevee and on comes Ted Cruz to talk with Katy Tur, who has ten IQ points, a unwhiny voice, and real hair on him.

So Katy asks Ole Ted, “Why is it that you want aid for Texas now but you opposed aid for Sandy relief to New York?”  Ted smugged smiled and replied in that chastising voice he’s got, “Katy, now is not the time to play petty politics.”

Oh sure, but right after Hurricane Sandy was a great time to play petty politics.

When I was a little girl my Aunt Lillian used to tell me that if a crab pinched you, it wouldn’t let go until sundown. That’s not true but it’s enough to scare a little girl from putting her hand in the crab basket and tormenting the crabs. I’m just praying it is true for Katy Tur and she won’t let go ’til you can ice skate in hell.

If Ted Cruz accidentally cuts himself, he bleeds petty politics.  And there’s so much in him that if you sew him up, he’ll spring a leak somewhere else.

And it is true that while Trump didn’t see even an inch of water in the streets of Corpus, any destroyed property or see one person tragically impacted by this, Cruz dropped by the George R Brown shelter housing 10,000 people and shook a few hands before dashing out. I think he was hoping to leave some bumper stickers. (I just made that up but it’s probably true.)

Y’all, I hate this man.  I hate the way he treats his wife and children. I hate how when he prays, he puts his head down and used that time to figure out way to screw people. I hate how smart he thinks he is. I hate how he has no friends and enjoys being hated. I hate this tiny little boots he wears.

Be social and share!

Cruz is a repulsive excuse for a human being. All that Ivy League education, flushed down the toilet—just think what a decent person could have done with it!

  2. Jane & PKM says:

We hope Texans receive All the support necessary and NOT what Teddie Crooze deserves. However, I would hope that Democrats attach a caveat to the spending authorization to the effect that Flint, MI receives what is needed to deal with their lead/water issue which has gone way beyond anything conscionable. If we can find $billions, certainly we can afford a few $million for Flint.

Teddie, sign those spending bills. All of them. Do not hold the constituents whom you claim to represent hostage to your petty little games.

  3. Cruz = sanctimonious, double dealing hypocrite. The past action of the Texas Republican delegation – Sandy – should make their voters gag.

    3
  4. Katy Turr clipped Teddy’s little claw like wings and smacked him on his sanctimonious nose. Democrats won’t play politics they have a sense of decency, but like Jane & PKM I think adding a rider to help the folks in Flint is a darned fine idea!

  5. Not a Katy Tur fan.

Hate Cruz. For details see Miz JJ’s comments above. I completely agree.

That’s the two-fer. Throw in Abbot for that furnished townhouse in hell.

  6. Jane & PKM says:

Teddie Crooze and the deplorable snacilbupeR in Congress need to hear from all of us. Some of those miscreants are considering reducing aid to Texas by nearly $1 billion to fund Donnie’s wall. Please write or call them. No money for Donnie’s ego. Especially not when there are infrastructure needs in every state. As for “tax reform” or tax cuts? Not until the .01% pay their fair share toward the needed infrastructure.

  7. There’s a term, French I think, “a basket of crabs,” for a bunch of unpleasant people doing unpleasant things to each other in a no-exit situation, and whenever one tries to climb out, the others drag it back down. Doesn’t that sound like Congress? The GOP side anyway. Or the current White House.

And I came across this in a novel set in Victorian times, from a scene in an asylum: “We divide the idiots from the lunatics the best we can manage, but the boundary between the poor creatures is not always a clear one.” Immediately I thought of the Trump “administration.”

As for Cruz: “Why am I persecuted?” Because no one deserves it more for being an ugly waste of protoplasm.

  8. Quotes from The Most Arrogant-ing Man In The World:

“If you need a man to pick the right time for petty politics, he’ll be glad to settle the issue.”

“He could help Houston by wrastling wild gators with one hand while wrangling snakes with the other hand, but God granted him the serenity to accept the fire ants will do the job for him.”

“Stay hydrated my friends. Stand in the flooded streets, you won’t have to drink as much FEMA bottled water.”

  9. Sandridge says:

    FYI:
SOBOTUS tRump is returning to Texas Saturday for another disaster porn photo op-political opportunity tour. There’ll probably be a worshipful two-hour TV special on it.
He’s supposed to actually visit some Hurricane Harvey damaged areas this trip. I hope a gator, snake, or fire ants grab him by his teeny ‘nads and don’t let go (IK, not a chance, but one can hope).

    9
  10. Croozer the Oozer swore the Sandy rescue package was pure pork. Of course, he lied. Why the hell he did that while people were suffering (and even if they weren’t) is beyond the thinking of all decent people. Apparently he was fighting for attention just like all maladjusted adult brats. And he is ready to do it again via government shutdown just when government is needed at the ready to handle among other things the super ginormous wreckage in Texas, a place he claims he dearly loves.

Will not let the Barking Yam off lightly either. He is due back in Texas this weekend. Ten to one he will still make the effort all about him. To hell with all the bereaved people, the dead, the injured, the homeless better known to him as losers. He is a walking exhibit of how evil does coexist with stupidity. Hell, he is so stupid he would milk a damn bull! As for evil, that my friends is no secret.

  11. Coprolite says:

Maybe someone can collect some of those fire ants and leave them on Cruz’s front porch?

    11
  12. Scotty in Illinois says:

Little Boots is a fitting name for him. Translated into Latin it comes out Caligula.

Next time I can catch the retired Latin teacher up the street I’m hitting her up to translate Little Gloves for 45

  13. Lunargent says:

Also, be prepared for some cramped, malformed soul to propose that any appropriations for Harvey relief be offset by taking money away from programs for some other poor citizens in other states.

As MSNBC reminds us, this draconian bit of “economizing” on expenditure was initiated in 2005, during the debate over funding relief for Katrina. By none other than that exemplary Kristian, Mike Pence.

How can alleged human beings continue to behave so callously toward other humans? Especially when their JOB is, among other things, to “provide for the general welfare”?

  15. The best part was when Sheila Jackson Lee brought up the HISD – 3 meals a day FREE for 2017 and 2018 and told Cruz there better not be any kind of bull crap backing out of that. That it was the STATES responsibility to find the money.

    15
  16. As long as Cruz does what he has to to help the people out from devastation, I’m willing to hold off untill the next time he runs/acts against his constituency.

    Get help NOW…

    16
  17. Remember how we cheered Jose Cruz with chants of CRUUUUUUUZZZZZzzzzz ,. Teddy deserves OOOOUUUZZZZzzzzz.

    17
  18. How could we forget the time when he shut down the government and cost the country a ton of money. Just to be mean spirited.

    18
  19. I find it telling that other Republicans can’t stand Ted Cruz either.
You have to be pretty bad when that group does not like you, and lots of them have admitted it.
    He’s just creepy.
Rhea. Loved that description from Victorian times, it reminded me of Fox news!

  20. Tilphousia says:

One cannot be a Christian and a republican. The two are incompatible. Neither Cruz nor Pense are christians even if the meaning of the word is stretched to its limit. Cruz couldn’t care less for anybody. His distain for his constituents is palpable. Pense is a sanctimonious hate monger who thinks only his particular brand of non Christian religion is righteous. Neither piece of DNA is worth a tinkers dam. The Texas people deserve more; the American people deserve better.

  21. easttxdem says:

I’ve wondered how in Hell Ted Cruz ever found someone who’d marry him. Then I remembered there are women who marry men that are on death row — go figure. Guess it proves that old adage that there’s a Jill for every Jack (ass).

Breaking News: Bad, bad situation brewing in Crosby, TX chemical plant that cannot cool down their toxic stash. 1-1/2 mile radius has been evacuated, FAA shut down Crosby air space…the chemicals are in containers that are heating up and “nothing can be done to prevent the explosion.” The company manager refused to tell the media or locals what the chemicals are…thanks to Governor Abbott’s contempt for regulations to ‘protect America’ http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/31/chemical-fire-expected-flooded-arkema-plant-texas-hurricane/

Katy missed her chance: “So when is the right time to talk about your hypocrisy on disaster funding?”

    23
  24. According to my translator app, Latin for little is “parva” and gloves is gloves. However, Latin for hands is “manus.”

    So, “parva manus.”

    24
  25. See my handle? This NJ gal, whose daughter went into labor during Sandy (hospital was such a mess, they wanted to send.her.home.where.there.was.no.power.and.it.was.snowing), wants Ted to grovel for aid.

I’m all for helping TX out with whatever it takes to get those people back on their feet, roads fixed, schools up and running, etc. But I want begging from Ted. And apologies. Lots of apologies.

PS–Hospital admitted daughter, she had baby but no nurses to check on her or answer her call. You know, in case she was bleeding or something.

    25
  26. I am also in NJ. We got power back after four days and we were among the first to get it. People came from everywhere to help us, including Bud the Pieman from Round Top, TX. He brought pie to people in shelters. It was a crazy, unforgettable effort.

Ted Cruz, however, is one of history’s blandest villains. I hope he knows we won’t forget what he did, and does now.

  27. Bob Boland says:

    Lunargent –

How can alleged human beings continue to behave so callously toward other humans? Especially when their JOB is, among other things, to “promote the general welfare”?

The answer to your question is that they misread that line as “promote the generals’ welfare” i.e. the welfare of those at the top of the heap.

Ask, and ye shall receive (this transcript is from Wednesday, it may have been on the Tuesday’s program, my internet sucks, look it up):

“Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union and the former White House political director for George W. Bush”

  29. Marge Wood says:

I don’t like Cruz either. Support Beto.
