Business Community Continues to Turn on Trump

July 13, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Trade War Based On Lies, Traitor, Trump

Yesterday, in Forbes, the bastion of politics only for the benefit of business, Larry Kotlikoff, financial analyst and retirement planner, called Trump an “economic traitor”.  Yes, he used the word traitor.  In the piece, he lays out how Trump is INTENTIONALLY wrecking our economy, just because he can.  He calls for his removal from office before he does any more damage.  When writers for Forbes start ringing the alarm bells, the house is on fire and it’s time to start running.  Read the piece here.

There is a time for anger, and THIS is it.

I’m not seeing the news in that, unless you’re saying that, if billionaires could still make fortunes off Trump, they’d still be singing his praises.

Other than that, people have been talking about the economic destruction from Cheetoh Jesus since the campaign.

Finally, an article in Forbes with which I totally agree! I have no idea whether Trump is hell-bent on wrecking the US economy through his utter ignorance about. . .well, everything. . .or through a desire to cozy up to Putin, but the effect is the same: he is destroying our reliability, and desirability, as a trading partner with our long-time allies. If he is not stopped, Trump will lead us, and probably the rest of the world along with us, into a Depression, which his idiot tariffs will make vastly worse.

Trump needs to be removed from office NOW, but too many deluded Republicans still support him blindly. May articles like this one spread the word of his danger to our economy, and help to change the minds of Trump voters who are remain unmoved by his social injustices, Russian connections, and unfitness for the office he holds.

How many times do people that have experience with Hair Furor’s abysmal business practices have to keep repeating that he is a clusterfoof that damages even his own enterprises by his hubris…

  4. Long game – America in economic tatters. Trump & Co. pick real estate up cheap for pennies on the ruble.

Wow. H e l l must be freezing over. I actually agree with an article in Forbes! Never saw that coming!

  6. That Drumpf and his minions may purchase property in the US for pennies is as side benefit to the benefit to Putin, which is the US economy in tatters.

  7. This is what Putie wants, a greatly weakened USA. What Putie wants pres Child Abuser is thrilled to provide. Plus, in his insanity, he probably doesn’t truly comprehend the havoc on the US economy he is causing. When he says stuff like, “The English love me,” while 20,000 of them protest his presence, he believes himself.

But regardless of all that, Forbes managed to get one right. The orange child abuser needs to be gone ASAP. The NRA/Russia $ will keep flowing to snacilbupeR who support the Child-Abuser-in-Chief. The question is, how long will greedy bastards like the Kochs and Scaifes and Waltons maintain their GOP ownership? And the pseudo-Christian freaks like the Greens, Falwells, Jefresses, Grahams, evangelical charlatans and others keep it up?

When Bush crashed the economy in “08” I knew somebody that threw a bunch of money at the stock market at it’s low.

I’m sitting on some cash just waiting

  9. Not really a surprise. And surprise is one word business doesn’t like. They like everything stable and reliable. Hence that was why the Chamber of Commerce was not at all thrilled with even the idea of his candidacy. When something as big as industries covered by Forbes start to beat the war drums against the Golden Gibbon, he had better stop pretending he is deaf and realize that a Plan B is a damn good idea, that is, his exit plan.

  10. I knew the GOP would turn on him when he started costing them big votes, and Big Business when he started costing them big bucks. By November it could be both. I certainly hope it’s the former, at least. Maybe threats of the latter can get him out before the worst happens. But then what? Is Pence really an improvement for decent people like us? I think not. He’s part sane, and he’d be more effective at making the country into a theocracy.

  11. Long before the 2016 election the NRO dedicated a full issue to documenting why they thought Trump was a Bad Idea.

I don’t think this Forbes article will have any more influence than that did.

Every high-net-worth person I know who voted for Trump all say something like “well I don’t like him as a person but I like his policies.”

The right people have to show up at the ballot box. That is all.

  12. Charles R Phillips says:

To save the Republican Party, party elders in congress and a majority of the cabinet will try their damnedest to go 25th amendment on his butt.

It will fail, initially, but succeed in mid-2019 due to being almost totally hanstrung by the dems success in the mid-terms and the polls showing 2020 will be worse.

Or maybe Mueller drops a metaphorical piano on him, some time in January, who knows.
