Boehner is Just a Shiver Looking for a Spine to Run Up

You’re not going to believe this so I’m bringing you photographic proof from the Los Angeles Times.

Did he say Obama?  This from the man who canceled his own vote.

Damn, that’s gotta hurt.  If there’s a God in heaven, then that level of hypocrisy has got to be painful.

Be social and share!

  1. You must remember that Republicans have their own special Heaven where they are forgiven for any sin, they get to write their own Commandments, and no liberals are allowed.

As a liberal I am delighted.

Not to mention that Boehner has his own concept of “reality”.

Gee Mr. Speaker….. nice of you to come back to work.

A Democratic source familiar with the talks tells CNN they have hit a “major setback” because Republicans are now insisting that any fiscal cliff deal include “chained CPI.”
Chained CPI, which Democrats consider a “poison pill,”would change the way Social Security benefits are adjusted for inflation, effectively meaning Social Security recipients would receive less money over the years.
The Democratic source’s understanding is that the president offered this in talks with House Speaker John Boehner, but Democrats say that was in the context of a larger deal — in exchange for changes to the way the debt ceiling is approached, which is not in the plan anymore.
This source did not want to be identified because of the closed nature of the talks, but was clearly giving the information to CNN to make public the Democrats’ point of view and push the Republicans to give in on this high-stakes issue.
The source also told CNN that Democrats are currently “going outside their comfort zone” in these talks with regard to tax rates — keeping tax rates in place for higher income households than the president wants. The source also said Democrats are negotiating with Republicans on extending the current lower estate tax rate, a big issue for many Republicans as well as moderate Democrats.

  4. I’d like to chain something on those republiteas, but it’s not their CPI.

Go off the curb, we get most of what we want and they fight us to get it all back!

  5. No matter what, their aim is to make Obama look bad or weak. If that means they have to abandon their own plans because he’s adopted them, or drive the country into a ditch, they’ll do it.

I say “Let the drunk Oompa Loompa man cry.”

Ohio needs to vote the alcoholic, orange spray tan, cry baby career politician out of office. He has done nothing but obstruct and injure this country since… since… Well since he turned orange.

    Just saying…

  10. Boehner can’t stand up to his crazy wing, he’s running for Speaker, for Pete’s sake!

  11. I don’t give a damn how he PRETENDS to pronounce his name. We all know how it’s REALLY pronounced and we think it suits him just dandy.

  12. One of the best comments to the story in the LA Times was:
“The Republicans never debate or deliberate. All they do is constipate. The party of anal-retention confuses flatulence with brain activity.”

  13. Have to wonder how John-Boy has been able to keep those tear-ducts under control better than those tea-ducks. Suppose it has something to do with his man-hood?

    13
  14. We just need to go over the cliff and start over on January 4th. We will find out how serious Republicans are about the deficit. Some tax cuts can be restored retroactively but we will be through with the Bush tax cuts. It will take a while longer to cleanup the mess that G.W. Bush and “Deficits don’t matter,” Cheney made.

  16. If only the MSM would quit giving them camera-time, America would be better off~take away their media attention and the LIES will stop.

  17. Eykis has it right on TV face-time. Liberal media, my arse! Libs may not be as good at throwing elbows to get out in front of the cameras.

Looks like any deal is better than no deal anyway:

  18. Ignore them for today and tomorrow and then we will take up the good fight on Wed.
We have a lot to be thankful for. POTUS Obama is in the White House for 4 more and Mitt Romney is…. anywhere else.

I hope everybody has a safe, happy New Year Eve and we all have a wonderful prosperous New Year!!!

  19. Mika, on Morning Joe, this morning asked an entire panel of primarily white men who were “knowledgeable about the state of the negotiations” if any women were involved in the talks. Then she started digging around for her yellow legal pad to start making a list…. said, “Oh, I wish I had a binder”…. (LOL), and no….. Nancy Pelosi was the only woman they could name, and of course she is a Rep, not a Senator, so she isn’t part of the heavy lifting going on last night between Biden, McConnell and Harry Reid. Someone did mention that McConnell’s chief of staff is a woman, which is why ole McGrumpy is probably looking a little more like he wants to get something done.

I think I agree with Mika…. that when the Senate suddenly has all those women sitting in it, they will change the dynamics and a deal will happen…. and some of the worst of the TeaGaggers will no longer be sitting in the House, replaced by newly elected people with brains, we may get a deal.

Put on your water wings tonite. We’re going cliff diving… and this ain’t Acapulco.
