And the Forecast for Tonight is Dark

So, alert the media!  Honey, I am flabbergasted!

And a "Manifesto" is .... ?

And a “Manifesto” is …. ?

Ron Paul just announced that he think secession is a good idea.

Ron Paul, the cult candidate who beta-tested tea parties for the Koch brothers, has confirmed that he does in fact approve of secessionist movements in the United States, calling them a ‘check’ on the power of the federal government.

Hell, Ron Paul still has confederate dollars in his sock drawer.

Thanks to Don for the heads up.

  1. I followed the link. You should too! Ron Paul, libertarian. Also, apparently, white supremacist.

  2. Will somebody just give Ron Paul a county in west Texas where the citizens will address him as Mr. President, or Your Highness, or Penultimate Grand Dragon so he will leave the rest of us alone? Someplace with more cattle than people, to minimize the collateral damage. Sorry cows…

  3. I thought Mr. Lincoln settled this question. I’m a bad historian, so could somebody set me straight?

  4. Lorraine in Spring says:

I’m surprised Ron Paul and Raphael Cruz aren’t gonna run together on a I Hate Everyone Not Like Me Ticket.

  5. There he goes again, making up constitutional rights which don’t actually exist. Exactly where in the your imaginary constitution does the right to secede occur, Mr. Paul? Perhaps you and your KKK buddies have written your own. It ain’t worth the toilet paper upon which it’s written.

Should we be surprised of what comes out of the mouth of this buffoon?

  7. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Ron, Randy, Raffy, Daffy and the rest of the dominionists need to take their sorry selves to the Middle East to defend Israel, defeat ISIL and whatever else they think they can do to prepare for their rapture. Give my regards to Bibi; he’s one of you.

  8. Ron, I would love to see the results of your CT scan!

  9. I wish there was a “test” that could reliably sort out candidates running for elective office. Even if the profile generated wasnt used to deny office, just to say Bob will be like LBJ in office and Charlie will be like Ronald Reagan and Dave will be similar to Gerald Ford. A profile helpful to the voter before they pull the lever, then discover they have Ron Paul representing them.

  10. All you people who want to secede, especially politicians, fine, goodbye, and don’t let the border patrol hit you in the ass on the way out. The rest of us are sick and tired of you.

    10
  11. Rhea, I’m with you. If they want out of the US…they should take their sorry butts out of the US. Rick, I won’t give them part of a county in West Texas, because as far as I’m concerned, they don’t get one square inch of US territory. They should go, get out, and stay out.

    11
  12. I also believe that secession is a good idea provided I get to pick who goes.

  13. Joe's Confused....still says:

Is a MANifesto worth twice as much as a WOMANifesto?
    I’m just askin?

  14. Have any of these people ever said the Pledge of Allegiance? I suspect they have on numerous occasions, but then it’s just another promise, right? None of them hesitate to call on the US Government to help them out when they’re in need — funny that.

Ditto Rhea — here’s yer hat, what’s yer hurry?
