Aladamnbama

Alabama, you suck!

A new JMC Analytics poll in Alabama finds Roy Moore leading the Republican field for the U.S. Senate primary with 30%, followed by Sen. Luther Strange at 22%, Rep. Mo Brooks at 19% and  Trip Pittman at 6%.

If you don’t know who Roy Moore is, he is a man who has been ordained by God to hate homosexuals, liberated wimmen, all things not white and Baptist, and reading books.

He is a damn mess.

Seriously, a real mess.  His wife is is the president of the Foundation for Moral Law and his son is a A Real Mess, Junior.  He has been arrested 8 times in 5 years, mostly for driving drunk.  The last arrest was for illegal hunting on private property, which in Alabama means you were walking around your neighbor’s backyard with a rifle.

Donald Trump has made Roy Moore look acceptable.

I damn well hate both of them.

Thanks to Craig for the heads up.

  1. Ah, the Foundation for (Im)Moral Law. Seems a “friend” made a donation in my name, and I get their newsletters. Now that I know the link to Moore, I have a better understanding of their “morality.” I’ve written a letter telling them that the Pharisees and Sadducees would be proud of their work, but have yet to send it. Did increase my small monthly donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center though. They rail against the SPLC. Hard to be too harsh on Alabama folks, given that we live in Texas. Sad times for our country.

WTG Alabama. Having Mo Brooks in the House apparently wasn’t enough moron for you. Now you’re ready to debase the Senate with Roy Moore. Do all of us a favor and secede already, please.

Not to be harsh, Alabama. But you are setting a horrid example for the rest of us. Admittedly, NV embarrasses itself with Mark Amodei and Dean Heller. This is the problem: your asshats almost make our asshats look good; ergo some of our electorate may be fooled into thinking Amodei and Heller aren’t ‘so bad’ in comparison.

Solution: no more snacilbupeR in Congress. Then we won’t appear to be a nation of morons deciding between full blown asshats and lesser asshats.

Just what we need in the U.S. Senate, another holier-than-thou, hypocritical, nutjob. Way too many up there already.

I live in Ala. and have not even heard of Foundation for Moral Law, but then again, I tossed the tv and get no state wide newspapers, so can remain happily de-stressed most of the time.
Roy More, tho, like Wallace, is impossible to avoid.

Before y’all curse on Ala. any more, pls. remember all of us who are so blue, in such a red state.

Maggie ONeill, fear not you are among friends here. Alabama, NV and Texas are not alone with loveable blue pockets among the red. Kentucky has Mitch McTurdle, so they are in no position to throw stones, either.

  7. Is Roy going to drag his rock on to the Senate floor?

Moore has been kicked off the Alabammy Soopreme Court twice, last time for life. He has dog’s ear-in a baby food jar of formaldehyde. Him and dog are buds, alrighty.

  9. Yes, I hate Trump and this little pharisee Roy Moore, but I also hate the jackwagons who vote for them and inflict their hatred and ignorance on the rest of us.

Traitor trump and his miserable ass kissers like Moore are the bane of existence for humans capable of rational thought. The only hope this country has of survival is if the voting citizens start thinking.

  11. Um, here’s a hint. The Northeast corner of Aladamnbama is the most consistently populous due to the location of the Redstone Arsenal. The rest of the state is scant in every definition and relies on tourism. Hence Aladamnbama is deficient when it comes to the number of mental health people like psychiatrists who could possibly help Moore. Up in the NE section, the last time I looked, there was only one such doctor.
