I attended a memorial for the mother of one of my best friends this weekend. It was absolutely refreshing to be reminded that Christians could be welcoming, generous, tolerant, and even NICE.
How terrible the fall to vindictive, judgy, marionettes that allow themselves to be controlled by the need to dominate. How terrible that they are allowed to be oppressors in the name of someone who was anything but.
9P.P.–Thanks for the link to John Pavlovitz. I’ve been wondering if I’m the only living being who learned that Christianity was based on the words in the New Testament since I’ve heard so much #$%^&* that can’t be that and yet claims to be Christian. Clearly, I’m not.
