I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Semi happy in Nevaduh. All indications are the Senate seat will be retained by Senator Masto with Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak winning 4 more years. But. Neither should have been close races. And, we failed to oust Mark Amodei from district 2 for the second time after big efforts. Not giving up. Jane and I are already strategizing for 2024 and finding a candidate to run the distance.
Enjoying the cartoons re the ‘red wave’ fizzle with relief. Nevuh thought Matt Gaetz would make us laugh. But calling the Moscow Mitch, Qevin McQarthy and Ronna not a Romney McDaniel RNC triad: McFailure. Albeit for mostly the wrong reasons won’t deny Matt a point there. Hey now. With what passes for Republican ‘humor,’ we can’t be too picky.
1All very good. In particular, #1 clearly states the repugnantican platform this election and 2024, and their voters are too stupid to understand they’re getting duped.
2Maybe add cut social security (to pay for more tax cuts for the top 1%).
#3 specially if DeSantis primary’s the Rufes Dufus.
3Ok, so the “red wave” wasn’t as bad as predicted. I’m still holding hope that that the current results in AZ will hold and Kari Lake loses for governor and the democrats win the 2 remaining races for Congress. Then, if Raphael Warnok trounces Hershel Walker would be great. Knock on wood.
4I am still on LinkedIn. Don’t know why. This morning, Kevin Mccarthy was already declaring he’d work with President Biden as speaker IF he agrees on all the R’s agenda. Looking at the comments made me nauseous. Hope he has to eat his words.
Since I did not get my fervent wish regarding Ron (The Snake) Johnson, I am looking for Ms Lake to go jump in…..

Expect lawsuits. It’s the R way.
Trumpf officially a 2024 presidential candidate. Pretty sure it’s all about trying to stop any indictments and lawsuits. Knew that was coming but hope the DOJ, NY and Georgia aren’t fooled.

Although I didn’t see it, written comments on other news sites said Kari the Snake was on Faux Nooze whinging and raging. Of course she won’t concede. Houston, there’s going to be a problem with those flying monkeys.
As for TFG running, yep, it’s all about him avoiding the handcuffs and lawsuits. NY Post put his election story on page 26. So there is that. I have no sympathy whatsoever for Moscow Mitch and the Reps who could have stopped all this by impeaching and convicting Trumpf. I saw this comment, which to me, sums it all up: “The GOP will be forced to carry Trumpf to term ever if it endangers the life of the party”.
