I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

About the Golden Ass in #1, at first the “artist” said it was made in Mexico. But now his partner in the business has admitted that it was made in China. Just like all the T**** flags and MAGAt hats.
This harks back to what BruceJ’s wife said: it was a refurbished Bart Simpson statue, which I seconded because of the shorts and the sandals. Since it’s unlikely China was making DJT statues at that time, it makes it even more likely we’ve got a spray-painted Bart here.
BruceJ, pass on my compliments to your wife on how sharp her observations were.

4I’m wondering if Mexico can distinguish among states to determine who is allowed to go more than, say, 10 miles south of the border. I know they don’t want to pay for a wall, but it seems like they could insist on knowing what people they want to let in, limiting to those less likely to be carrying COVID varietals of various sorts.
5John, @5. The VA nurse that gave me my c19 vax said to take a cell pic of the shot card, make copy’s, and put the original in my passport folder cause soon airlines and tourist spots will demand proof before they let you in. The QOP will stroke.
6I got my second and last shot of the vax a week ago today. When I got my first, it was on a week day at the govt ctr in Fairfax. Yes, lots of people lined up. Parking lot pretty much filled. We were allowed into the bldg in the same amount of people that had just left. First floor one huge clinic. Second time around was on a weekend and there were mobs of people, largely past a certain age. Way more outdoor volunteers offering rides into the bldg in wheelchairs. 99% of those asked took the offer. One guy who was actually staggering up the sidewalk “manfully” refused and then actually kissed the pavement. There was an immediate rush of nurses, emts etc etc from the clinic the building.They still had to be argued into a wheelchair. This meant that there was a sudden knot in delivery of injections in the building. There were old people in wheelchairs in the bldg waiting for the vax, and waiting, and waiting – – as if they had all the time in the world. “Manfully” needs another definition. And yes, I treasure my vax card. Its in a special file. If I ever need to board a plane again, I know exactly where that little card is.
7Just heard the CT governor will remove travel restrictions next week. I dunno, we were doing pretty well. I’m all for a wall on our southern and western borders.
