Cuccinelli Returns!

July 23, 2021 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I know y’all have had a very hard time forgetting Ken Cuccinelli and now that you’re like 80% over him, I’m gonna push you back to square one.

Cuccinelli was Acting Director of Homeland Security under Trump because everybody knew he could never pass senate confirmation, mainly because he’s a far right weirdo. In 2020 a federal judge ruled that he was illegally acting as acting director which didn’t even seem weird under Trump because so damn many people were acting at some damn thing.

Well, he’s back.  Now he’s a lawyer.

Okay, remember back in February when Louie Gohmert of Texas and Andrew Clyde of Georgia were both fined $5,000 because they tried to enter the House chamber without going through a security check?  Well, they have decided to appeal it.  No, seriously.

So, they have hired Ken Cuccinelli. Well, in all honestly, I use they term “they” very loosely. Although they both hired him, only Clyde has paid for it.

Louie hasn’t paid his share yet and, gee, he probably never will.  He’s well known as the biggest moocher in Washington.

This will be a fun one to watch.

Now, here’s the fun part.  I wonder if either Cuccinelli or Clyde has realized that they just made Cuccinelli’s home address a part of the public record?  Hell, a fifth grader can now take a picture tour of both the inside and outside of the Cuccinelli home. I’m sure you can figure it out for yourself.

And this guy was Acting Director of Homeland Security.  Dude, if you’re going to work out of your house, get a post office box.

Be social and share!

He ran for Governor of Virginia. Now you know why Virginia has Dem Guvs and will for the foreseeable future. The last two Rethug Governors were such losers, even tRump thought former Guv Gilmore was too stupid to be in his Cabinet. I’ll give you a minute to ponder that. The last Rethug Guv got into severe legal troubles and threw his wife under the bus. Cuccinelli thought Virginia was still bright red. He was wrong.

$50,000 legal retainer for a $5,000 fine? That tells you sumthin right there.

please tell me if I’m reading this correctly.

Andrew Clyde is paying $50,000.00 to avoid a $5,000.00 fine. I assume Louie would be paying the same amount? Really??

Darn it Karen, you beat me to it. I really should have tried harder in typing class.

Andrew Clyde hasn’t paid. The record makes it abundantly clear, CLYDE FOR CONGRESS, INC. is the entity that paid.

At that point, the balance is $5,000 out of an actual monthly payroll check (and no, taxes don’t go down because the check is smaller) versus no personal legal fees AND a chance the courts will decide they should get the money back.

It isn’t as if either one of these Congress critters are likely to be needing huge amounts of money for the 2022 campaign. Clyde comes from north Georgia – Cook Report says his district is R+30. Gohmert’s district is R+25.

Ms. JJ it is probably safe for Cuccinelli to have doxed himself. As you began your article: “I know y’all have had a very hard time forgetting Ken Cuccinelli and now that you’re like 80% over him, I’m gonna push you back to square one.” Nope. Some of us are fighting for the remaining 20% of that “forget.”

The three of them deserve each other. Dumb, dumber and dumbest.

  8. Grandma Ada says:

Cuccinelli, like Barr, probably couldn’t get on at a fancy DC firm, so he’s reduced to a Office out of his bedroom. I wonder if they checked to see if he has a current law license in VA?

George Ade wrote, “A good jolly is worth whatever you pay for it.” Being able to brag that you “won” a lawsuit against that tyrant Pelosi is worth $50,000 or $5 million when you ask the knuckledraggers to send you back to DC.

I fully agree with Steve from Beaverton.

  11. Who else could they have hired? Rudy Giuliani? Alan Dershowitz?

  12. Speaking of Barr, does anyone know where he’s hiding out these days?

    AK Lynne …
Barr got a book deal in the spring. In April, someone at Politico wrote: “William Barr, Trump’s former attorney general who resigned two days before Christmas after disagreeing publicly with Trump’s voter fraud conspiracy theories, recently sold a book about his time at the Justice Department, according to three people familiar with the deal.

This will be Barr’s first book and he started writing it within the last two months, according to one of the people. “

  14. AK Lynne and john, Mika talked about barr’s book the other morning and Claire McCaskill had the perfect take on it.
    It made my day.

  15. Us folks who live within a hundred miles of this guy have always known he was a hack like Bill Barr, etc. Nasty as they come. And he has n the past used the size of his family to dress himself in some sort of glory. He knew his “appointment” to the job at DHS was illegal yet he willingly joined in that illegality. That alone should have skewered his law license.

And, um, what’s that 9-digit number starting with “201”? Surely that can’t be Cooch’s SS#, could it?
