Stephanie Who?

April 07, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

In the checkers game of White House staff, Press Sectetary Stephan Grisham is out.

Okay, so they didn’t have to announce that. We never would have known.

Oh Stephanie, we hardly knew ye.

Stephanie is going back to work for Melania Trump, who apparently needs a press secretary incapable of speaking to the press.

So y’all quit saying saying that the White House isn’t doing anything because, by gawd, they are playing a hot game of flaming dodge ball.

The new press secretary is Kayleigh McEnamy.  Click right here to watch her in action.  God help us all.

The New England Journal of Medicine

The New England Journal of Medicine prints their first ever social commentary: the apology they want to hear from Trump.

It’s worth your time this morning.

Thanks to John for the heads up.

There’s Always a Reason…

April 07, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Cohen, Coronavirus, Trump

Trump has been pushing (against all of his medical expert’s advice) that everyone try malaria drug hydroxychloroquine sulfate, falsely claiming twice that the FDA had cleared it for use against COVID-19.  We now know why – the largest manufacturer of the drug is Novartis.  In 2018, Novartis agreed to pay Michael Cohen (you know, Trump’s personal attorney who is now in jail) $1.2 million dollars for access to Trump.  What a coinquidink that Trump is now hawking their drug from the WH briefing room.

This presidency can’t end too soon.

Okay, I Changed My Mind

April 06, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Remember this morning when I said that Acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modley should be fired?

Well, I listened to his speech, and I’ve changed my mind.

He should either be sent to a psychiatric hospital or be jailed. Firing ain’t enough for the horrid messages he tried to send to our men and women defending this country.

See what you think.  And see if you can hear any of the background from the crew onboard the ship. They were not pleased. The guilt he tried to lay on soldiers, some of them dying, is shameful and unpatriotic.  It was manipulative and disgusting.

Shame on him. This man wouldn’t know courage if it bit him on the butt and God knows it should.

Thanks to Deb T for the heads up.

So Close, But Yet So Far

Picture from my local newspaper.

Dude, it does not help to hold church outside if you’re sitting on each other’s laps.  It’s not the indoor carpet or the walls causing the contagion.

“He encouraged the faithful to cast away thoughts of casting away sinners and non-believers who contract COVID-19, and pray for them instead.”

That’s what it says, I swear to God.
