Yowza!

February 08, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Read this from Trump’s meeting this morning where he defended his executive order on the ban.

“I was a good student. I understand things. I comprehend very well, OK? Better than, I think, almost anybody. “

Now clean the spit and snot off your computer screen.

Do you know even one smart person who has to tell people they are smart?  Even one?

This information is going to come to a whale of a shock to Stephen Hawking, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Scott Aronson, Noam Chomsky, and your average high school graduate.

Hint: being crazy does not add IQ points.

Thanks to Nancy for the heads up and John for the graphic.

No matter how you slice it, it takes a country to raise that level of asshole. No one man can do it alone; they need a YUGE buy-in from the people and the beauracracy.

    Yowza … WHAT? OMG
I am a high school grad, 1961; a little bit of college, and tons of real-life work experience, plus raising a couple kids and a couple of husbands and I am fer shure smarter then that orange a-hole in the White House … and … I earned everything I currently have in my home and in the credit union.
Yup, by God … I totally understand and comprehend what an ignorant degenerate he is!!

  3. Trump must be smart because he had a whole university named after him. And that’s where other smart people go to get smarter, isn’t it?

After 3 weeks of Orange Foolius grabbing Lady Liberty under her robe, Donnie may be in for a little push back from Lady Justice. Albeit the Ninth Circuit will need to slap him harder with a 2×4 than average to penetrate his fantasy world.

@KellyannePolls Be sure to tell Donnie that President Obama had higher ratings by a huge margin for his pre-Super Bowl interview.

  5. When will the Koch Bros run out of money……they are the virus that infects most state governments…..and they are entrenched.

  6. “I was a good student. I understand things. I comprehend very well, OK? Better than, I think, almost anybody. “

States (alternate) facts not in evidence.

  7. I guess they all missed this: a knife can either carve a toy for a child or be used to carve up another human. Its not the “thing”, its what you do with it. Size of the IQ is pretty much irrelevant, its what you do with it. Oddly enough, all four of those examples had the same problem: conflating themselves with a deity.

    7
  8. fran Seyer: Even the Koch brothers are reportedly worried about the angry talking yam and his authoritarian tendencies, which should tell us all something.

    8
  9. eyesoars:
Yes, indeed……the Koch Bros need to get in line…..be nice if they would throw some of their $$$ towards a moderate anyone. They love pence, God help us.

    9
  10. Trump doesn’t comprehend how pathetic he sounds. He is so tone deaf that he thinks he has to assure people he is smart, and in doing so convinces that he is just the opposite.
    god help us, again.

  11. Frau Free says:

Sorry, can’t agree with the message ‘it took just one asshole to mess things up’. What it took was masses who supported (or ignored) those assholes!

  12. At a parent conference (second grade) I had a father (at least in his 30s) continually trying to impress me with his high school SAT scores.

But I actually think 45 has a learning disability that may affect his ability to decode, comprehend, or both. Some children with this disability react this way, insisting that they are better than anyone else.

  14. If there was ever a poster child for Dunning-Kruger, it’s Trump. He’s too monumentally dense to understand the nature of his failings.

    15
  15. Mary Lynne, had the same experience when I was teaching school. Yes, I agree on the learning disability. I no longer have all my basic texts on such subjects, even my DSM is gone, but I would bet there is a name for such a dysfunction. Now if only it could be fixed. He may discover that he no longer needs constant adulation and hence, not the job he campaigned for and bows out. Well, from a pressure cooker to a frying pan – Pence. He is absolutely sure he is Divine Right correct in his thinking on government getting big on invading the privacy between female patient and physician, etc. Here’s a thought. Maybe Pence really, really never saw himself as the Prez and has all that he can take as the VP cum actual Prez while the other Prez does all the publicity/ceremonial stuff. Oh,to dream, to hope!

  16. What is it called, Malignant Narcissism? Yeah.

    17
  17. Perhaps a “smart” person would go bankrupt once, perhaps due to circumstances beyond their control. He does not learn from his mistakes.
He is not a smart person.
His a very very bad person, the best of the worst

    18
  18. If Mama will allow me to say so, he is a smartASS, but that’s his limit.

He is also a dumb-ass. Nobody likes either one of those.

To paraphrase a wag: If you have tell them, you ain’t.

  20. Great wealth is always theft, from workers or customers or shareholders. Trump has blown so many investments, screwed so many people, he’s actually functionally stupid, regardless of his IQ.
Maybe the testing agency was bought off to improve his chances of getting into military academy.

    21
  21. This whole “I’m smart” line amuses me.

I could show you a herd of my high school friends – males and females – who were and are intelligent. Who worked smart and hard and sometimes, both. In their 60s their net worths hover around high 6 figures, none in 7 figures best I can tell.

So what happened? They were intelligent. They worked hard. Smart. Took measured risks. Why aren’t they soulless millionaires or billionaires?

Cause none of them had a soulless millionaire daddy to bail them out when some venture they bet everything on failed.

Ormond I disagree with you a bit here for once: great wealth may not always be theft, but it is always luck. Chance.

Early on Hair Drumpf got several cash infusions from his father when his deals weren’t quite up to snuff. Without a source of tons of cash on short notice Donald Trump is just another real estate tycoon wannabe selling high risk insurance until he saves enough to make another big score. All his business acumen gets back to being the son of a millionaire. He did nothing for that except be born. Luck.

    22
  22. I suspect in 45’s case stupid is as fear does.

This is someone so desperate to show he can function that one wonders when his daydreams start and his nightmares end. The guy has a mineshaft gap, and little green men are waiting to measure him for that new suit that only POTUSes can wear (or see).

It is terrifying that we already can believe he wanders around in a bathrobe. And Spicer feels compelled to comment that *he* hasn’t seen that happen (yet?)…

    23
  23. Tilphousia says:

Heard a rumor that trump takes hair restoration drugs. They can have nasty side effects like irrational behavior. Add that to his already being a sociopath and the combination is throwing gasoline on a fire. In addition his keeper bannon believes that we must have a war to contain the Chinese and Islam. That is lethal. World lethal. Bannon has already made trump the best recruiting boy ISIS could ever wish for. The US has lost Yemen as a staging place for raids against terrorist camps. The Brits have a petition with 1.5+ million signatures to keep trump from landing in their country, and Parliment doesn’t want to let him speak. Can’t blame them. All in less than a month. Trump MUST BE IMPEACHED! He is mentally unfit for the office of President of the United States.

    24
  24. Der Gropingfuhrer is proof that a mental condition left untreated just gets worse over time. He is too old to change, believing he is perfect as he is. If his children had any sense they would have him committed.

    25
  25. So this conversation is another example of how the folks who hang out in this joint are not just funny, sarcastic, opinionated and intelligent. But thoughtful, well-informed, and ferdamnsure perfectly willing to demonstrate all the above. And snarky. Can’t forget snarky. So my contribution to this one is only marginally on the same thread. I’ve said in here before that recent events demonstrate that the old Chinese saying “May you live in interesting times” is not a blessing, but a curse. Well, after doing a little reading, it seems that phrase isn’t Chinese in origin after all. But one thing is irrefutable. INTERESTING TIMES SUCK.

The only worthy thing I’ve seen financed by a Koch is the ongoing (and please, God, let it continue to be so) PBS show, “Nova,” underwritten by David H. Koch. It pains me every time I see his name listed after the show ends, but I’m grateful SOMEBODY finances such a wonderful show, and yet mystified somehow that he’s the one doing it.

  28. Linda Phipps says:

Here’s another one for the list of republishit: Conway has publicly shilled for Ivanka’s Chinese Clothing line. It was on Fox, so she might get away with it, not actually saying it from the pressroom. But it’s clearly cheap.

    29
  29. JAKvirginia says:

treehugger: And like it or not, the K brothers ponied up the money to renovate the auditorium of the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center. Like you, it makes me cringe a little to know that but good deeds are good deeds. (And some good deeds will get stuff naned after you, like that renovated auditorium at Lincoln Center. I’m just sayin’…)
