Yeah, Yeah, Free Stuff!

October 06, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Remember when Jeb! Bush? was all riled up about black people just wanting “free stuff” and that’s why they like Democrats?

TaDa!  The Jeb! Bush? tax plan:

jebtaxplan-660x330

That sign needs a little star saying that rich families will save far, far more because we’re cutting their tax rate more that we’re cutting the middle class.

But, you know … trickle, trickle, trickle.

Thanks to Brian for the heads up.

  2. Yay! That should be a relief to all those temporary embarrassed millionaires who can now vote for Jeb! instead of that tell-it-like-it-is buffoon Trump. They are gonna be millionaires for sure this time. Watch out Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.

Yeah, the warm comforting feel of urine gradually seeping down on us, our kids, our country…

Thanks, Jeb!, but no, thanks. BTDT.

  4. Have there been any cases of big GOP tax cuts (much bigger for the rich, of course) that didn’t end up in skyrocketing deficits shortly afterwards? And then GOP screeching that we have to slash government down past the bone to get rid of these skyrocketing deficits? I see a pattern here, and I think I see what they’re doing….

  5. @WA Skeptic captures my private, as yet unspoken thoughts over the years when a GOPer says “trickle down”, usually referring to their dysfunctional view of economics.

    @yellowdoggranny
Yep drinking alcohols is good economic policy. It is anti-cyclical. That is some people buy alcohol when times for them are really good. And some people buy alcohol when times are really bad for them. Alcohol is a win-win investment.

  6. This, in a nutshell, is why Republicans win elections.

Tasty, bumper-sticker sized, policy prescriptions that seem quite attractive. Who doesn’t want $2,000, right?

As you suspect, Jeb! is trying to sell a steaming truckload of BS. Explaining why it’s a steaming load of BS is so TLDR.

The amount of energy required to refute BS is exponentially greater than what’s required to create it.

  7. Funny they didn’t mention that everything Public would then become Private and, instead of being included in our taxes, would now cost $ money, lots of money.
    Library card $75
    Grade School $8200
    Parks $200
    Toll Roads $850
    Police/Fire $500 for 1 hour service
    Medical $Priceless!

  8. What a shame that there are fewer and fewer average middle class families because of previous Bush Presidents’ policies.

  9. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Jeb? can keep his crappy little 2K. I want my share of the $3 plus trillion his “peacekeeper” brother cost us and my share of Cheney’s profits.

It’s like this Jeb?, until you pay us what is owed, we don’t have much faith in whatever promises you might trickle our way. Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s an economic plan.

  10. JAKvirginia says:

    YEAH, JEB! GREAT TAX PLAN!

(Psst… what happened to the R’s big concern about the debt they’ve been screaming about for the past 6 years? Just askin’.)

  11. BegoniaBuzzkill says:

When you dig down & read his manna from heaven bait for the rubes plot it provides a list of what you can do with the pennies from Jeb! heaven:

“Two thousand dollars is four mortgage payments for the median American household (on what planet?); or eight months of gas; or six months of utilities; or about three months of groceries. Better yet, if a family were to invest it, in twenty years they would accumulate a nest egg of $108,000 <—- ROFLMAO!

    11
  12. tinkle, tinkle, tinkle

    12
  13. Like Bill Clinton said at the Democratic National Convention. Arithmetic! And they (R’s) can’t do it.

    13
  14. Polite Kool Marxist says:

BegoniaBuzzkill, Jeb? must have been sitting next to a shack in the Okefenokee, when he pulled those numbers out of his ‘research hole’ for comparison. Or, maybe those were median numbers back when his Grandpappy Prescott was collaborating with the Nazis.

😀 You liked that $108,000 nest egg, too? Love those peanuts the Republicons would toss us as our lifetime savings, knowing that’s about their average income represented by interest on unearned income for a week.

    14
  15. No thanks, Bushie. Raise the salary cap on social security, and the taxes on the wealthy. Then we’ll talk.

    15
  16. What is that JEB! guy’s last name? It’s never in his ads.

    16
  17. Maryelle, you damn betcha!!!
