Whiplash City. Trump Reverses Himself Again. And Again. And Again.

July 18, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Alternative Facts, Dumpster Fire, Russian Hacking

Reversing himself less than 24 hours after he reversed himself after siding with Vladimir Putin 24 hours before that, Trump inexplicably said today that Russian intelligence is no longer targeting the US.  That’s bullshit, of course, and NO US or European intelligence agency agrees with him.  Making the vertigo-inducing statement today before a cabinet meeting, Trump added that Putin was not happy because, “there’s never been a president as tough on Russia as I have been.”

Jesus, my neck hurts.

There is a place for anger, and THIS is it.

Be social and share!

“The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday—but never jam to-day.”

“It must come sometimes to ‘jam to-day,’” Alice objected.

“No, it can’t,” said the Queen. “It’s jam every other day: today isn’t any other day, you know.”

  2. Well I guess it’s what they always say…

    Small hands, short memory.

    trump is a TRAITOR.
Along with those with power who support him because they KNOW they are also.
his IRS returns will show how in deep he is in to russians unless repubs retain power in Nov. putin owns him. Big difference between western banks being stiffed and putin is on how defaults are handled to account for his behavior.
    Arnold, Benedict | ˈärnld |
(1741–1801), American general and traitor. During the American Revolution, he was instrumental, with Ethan Allan, in the capture of Fort Ticonderoga but later planned to betray West Point to the British. He fled behind British lines and lived the rest of his life in Britain. His name became synonymous with ‘traitor.’

  4. van heldorf –
Thanks for pointing out the comparison between Benedict Arnold and Trump. Trump too, has been-a-dick many times…

    With a short memory.

Did you listen to sarah’s press conference? How stupid do they think we are… I heard No as answer to question on Russia’s still meddling, because he said No twice. trump usually stops questions by just saying “thank you, thank you”. How do they come up with this stuff anyway?

  6. This period in history is the absolute perfect time for the Democrats, whatever Party apparatus group(s) can do it, to create a blitz of ‘attack Trump’ media spots. To Hell with the niceties of ‘civil discourse’, those polite times were laid waste to years ago by the Rethugs.

One of the prime themes of these media spots should be to contrast the recorded hyper-aggressive demeanor of Tsar Trump when he addresses his crowds of hand-picked rabid drooling MAGAots at those self-enhancing events that he stages in the manner of Adolf 80 years ago (also his many rants on the ‘evil, traitorous’ Dems, and those hundreds of vile tweets).
Contrast those many video clips with SOBOTUS’s weakling, obsequious, mewling, pronated, abject deferential demeanor in the public presence of his undisputed master, Vladimir Putin just a couple of days ago.

All it would take is the slick production of five or six 60-90-120 second political ads (hit pieces, damnit…) by some skilled political ad/PR agents, then put them into heavy national and local media rotation.
Contrast, over and over, the innately inferior ‘bully’ personality of Donnei, his hyper-alpha-‘male’ apparent persona when in the presence of howling sycophants, versus his slavering, whimpering, whipped dog groveling at the feet of a very dominate President Putin.

The Democrats have the resources to undertake a media campaign like this a thousand times over. DO THEY HAVE THE WILL?

Sure it might be an unprecedented political attack move…oh, wait a minute…I seem to remember a never-ending Republican media assassination campaign against some former Democratic President(s)…hmmm…who was that?…oh yeah: Obama, Clinton(s), Carter…

So, something like this anti-Trump blitzkrieg would hardly be unprecedented.
What the fock are the Democratic ‘leaders’ waiting for?! Bring it ON!

  7. van heldorf, Benedict Arnold also sold out his budding nation for MONEY, and he thought, influence and position.
IIRC, he found himself getting in financial difficulties (his spendthrift wife was part of it).
The British (spies) caught wind of Arnold’s developing problems, and made him some enticing ‘offers’ he chose not to refuse. And there went Revolutionary history.
~210 years later (circa 1989), along comes NYC ‘tycoon’ Donnei J Trump, a financial ‘genius’, with his large ass-in-big-crack; along come some smart Russians, and the rest is history unfolding before our stunned eyes…

  8. Something just occurred to me.
    A matter of labeling.
With the guidance of people like Rush Limbaugh, the Koch brothers, Hannity, Alex Jones, Donald Trump, and Vlad the Donnie Impaler, America is either transforming, or just being more open about how so many of its citizens view the world.
Either way the result is the same.
    America is breaking bad.

  9. Jane & PKM says:

Tough on Russia, eh Donnie? Then perhaps Putin will not be surprised if you actually tell your munchkin Mnunchin to lay down those sanction imposed by Congress. Or, better yet, direct the intelligence agencies to smoke every server in Russia until all of their grids are frozen; at the same time freezing every off shore account tied to Putin and his oligarchs.

While you’re at it, Donnie, we the taxpayers would like every dime back you stole from our pockets at Turnberry to line your pockets, as well as all the other money you grifted out of us during your lazy a$$ golf excursions at your other properties.

    9
  10. Jane & PKM says:

Jeff Flake (R-AZ) stand up now or kiss 2020 with any political future in your dreams good-bye.

To all the 2018 quitters in the House and Senate, it has not gone unnoticed that despite your token opposition to the Traitor-in-Thief, you continue to vote for his agenda, while failing to pass any legislation to curtain his reign of treachery.

  11. Ralph Wiggam says:

How is this different from Trump’s usual weekly scandal? He does this all the time to make us forget his SCOTUS pick or that Ryan is trying to gut Medicare, Medicade and Social Security. It is a regularly recurring scandal right on schedule, “Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.” (Thanks Bill Shakespeare, he summed up Trump well.)

    11
  12. twocrows says:

Except. It makes no never mind that all the intelligence communities in the world know better. Or that 63% of the general population of the US and 80% of the world know it.
Trump’s intended audience isn’t the intelligence agencies of the free world or the general population. His intended audience is FOX Watchers Unanimous — and no one else.

But soft! What light from yonder window breaks?!? Even FOX is disavowing what he did in Helsinki! I haven’t watched Hannity who, I’m guessing, is still toeing Trump’s line — but all the rest of them are telling their viewers that the Donald has crossed one bridge too far.

No matter how many non-walk-back walk-backs he does, once that dam breaks, he could well be washed downstream in a hurry.

The bad news is, we could well end up with President Pence.
    Oh C%@&!!!

  13. van heldorf says:

trump will soon be gone but the powers that created and enabled him live on in the 1%ers who have been at this “game” since Jamestown. These 1%ers are the real heart of what’s been going on; without dealing with and controlling them, a few battles may be won but the war will be lost IMHO.

  15. Depends on how many cheap, 2 bit GOP whores go down with Tangerine Wankmaggot. How much of the rank, filthy GOP crud will be cleaned out? It could take them A Long Time to rebuild. It’s been 80 years since last time, and you never know, humanity could get a little smarter, a little more egalitarian. It could happen.

    15
  16. Debbo:
If the integrity of our elections is guaranteed, I agree, it could happen, and a helluva lot more.
I’ve said since the beginning of computerized electronic voting machines that the probability of elections being stolen by hacking is a certainty. Sooner or later. With no tangible documentation, it’s a hackers world. The rest of us are just living in it.

  17. Gail in Richmond, urginia says:

Many questioned electronic voting machines, which left no paper trail to check, from the early and mid-200’s. They were publicly mocked and ignored. I remember an NPR story on a professor from my alma mater, Emory University.
