Lessee… that Freedom of the Press thing got you down? That same press that reported all the time of CJ’s opinion that Obama was not a citizen? Ya mean that press? Cry me a river.

(FYI El Jefe: Your link goes to a WSJ article that requires you to subscribe to read the whole thing.)

  2. 45 and Kushner do love to show off their amateur status don’t they? Real politicians know to keep their heads down and mouths shut when their actions are being reported on by the press. Going after the media never works well for them — as this batch is discovering.

But then, Napoleon was right about interrupting one’s enemy, wasn’t he?

    Carry on, gentlemen.

  3. Last president who attacked the media like this was Nixon. He didn’t end well. And, like Trump, what he hated the media for most was pointing out what he was doing.

    3
  4. Maybe Trump didn’t realize that unlike “reality” TV shows, news programming doesn’t edit out the blunders. Except Fox.

In the future when a “Trump: The President” Blu-ray disc is compiled we know it won’t have a blooper reel. It’s already part of the show.

  5. I love it that the article says Trump “would not approve the [Time Wrner/ATT] merger ‘because it’s too much concentration of power in the hands of too few.’ ”

Talk about being completely unaware of the face in the mirror…

  6. Hey, we missed you yesterday Jefe. The family is going to Disneyworld this summer. I’m have a dark curiosity about the Hall of Presidents. I have a series of questions:

    1) Will they include Trump (especially if he is already out of office)?

    2) If he is out will they simply hold up a small sign indicating his few months in office?

    3) If he is still president and they have his automatron what in the blazes will they have him say? Is there anything remotely presidential that has come out of his mouth?

Scott I can’t imagine myself ever going to Disney anything, but that’s just me…please keep the doors and windows locked. If they make an automaton of Trump, it would become a roadside shrine, out-drawing the Disney crowds. People would get married in front of it.

  9. JAKvirginia says:

Scott: I hear Disney is having problems with the animatronics. The figure of Trump keeps wanting to tweet and grab “things”. It may not be ready when you get there.

  10. Scott, take some rotten tomatoes, they may come in handy.

  11. No one is more entitled than bratty little rich kids. I wish they’d get sent to one of those boot camps for, oh, 5 years. Maybe, just maybe, they’d learn how to be decent, responsible, caring adults. That’s an enormous MAYBE.

  12. Why can’t I see the other six comments including one of my own?

    12
  13. That’s weird, now I can see them. My wife tells me I must go in alone. She can’t promise not to peg the automatron. Mine is just more a morbid curiosity.

    13
  14. SCROTUS that’s a good one, had to Google it to find out what it meant, going to use it now, thanks.
