I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.

Certainly he should treat the intelligence community with caution, but to dismiss it out of hand? And yet , this *is* the guy that built *3* casinos next to each other, and didn’t understand they would be each other’s mortal competition.

Old Fart: I gotta disagree. Even if Donnie gets impeached (which I think wouldn’t really bother him that much.Just think of the opportunities it would give him “I told you guys the system is rigged, buy my book! Go see my documentary! Watch my new reality show!) He skates. We on the other hand, are stuck with whatever catastrophe he leaves us with.
3I agree with Marcia that I have lost my sense of humor for these cartoons but I so love to see them.
Fake news much? I love that Sid Miller on Sunday posted all about some hunters on the border that were ambushed by those without legal status (“illegal aliens” to him) and yesterday the Presidio County Sheriff came out with a statement that it just didn’t happen. Never. All Fake News. You think Sid posted a retraction? Admitted to his mistake? Never.
He is one of them.
4The last one. Bennett nails it again. I love his work.
Nancy Yates: People lie. Of course, people in Sid’s position shouldn’t, but they do. How do we fix this? Report them. Was his post on Twitter? Facebook? Report these liars. There’s a new movement out there to stop these lies. Calling it “fake news” gives it the respectability of “satire” or “opinion” it does not deserve. They are lies. Pressure these places to discipline their users.
These standards should apply:
(1) Post with citations/references/sources.
(2) Opinion should be noted as such.
(3) Mistakes must be corrected.
(4) Retractions are required.
If the user cannot/will not follow these standards, insist the provider delete their account(s). Sorry, but it’s the only way this crap will stop.
5I vote for snacilbupeR Devolution as the best cartoon of this batch. It’s fitting and accurate.
6I always wondered why conservative, Republican states were identified with the color red. Remember better dead than red?
