The Goofy Train Hasn’t Pulled Out of the Station

May 03, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Apparently the Trans-Texas-Goofy Train is still at the station selling seats.

Texas Senator and Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz has picked up a trumpet and a feathered hat and is marching with the band of folks who think Obama is going to take over Texas with 60 troops and a Humvee.

Get this.  Speaking in South Carolina …

TedCruz_Airhead_3“My office has reached out to the Pentagon to inquire about this exercise. We are assured it is a military training exercise. I have no reason to doubt those assurances, but I understand the reason for concern and uncertainty, because when the federal government has not demonstrated itself to be trustworthy in this administration, the natural consequence is that many citizens don’t trust what it is saying.”

Okay, so either you trust the military or you don’t.  There’s no Obama stuck anywhere in that equation.  If Obama ordered the military to round up citizens and overthrow the government and the military followed those orders, then you’re gonna have sons and daughters arresting their parents.  Do you really think that’s gonna happen?

Ted ends his rant with this prize —

“Just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.”

Likewise, just because you have a college degree does not mean you have a damn lick of sense.

Thanks to Kyle for the heads up.

Be social and share!

The President would probably want to take everyone’s guns before he sent in the military. They have not thought this paranoia through. They have been expecting their guns to be seized for so many years now…..and it has not happened.

  3. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Why that Republican traitor, Raphael Cruz Jr.! He reached out to the Pentagon. WTH He couldn’t text message his resident military expert Tehran Tommy Cotton for the 411 on what 90% of the residents of Texas and anyone who has ever served in the military knows?

If not so ironic, it would be funny with the wingnuts all up in arms over a longstanding routine military training exercise. 60 or so personnel, iirc, heading to BF, Texas. Yet N. Korea, (yes $carah, that one; not our ally) should just suck it up buttercup, when we deploy the Navy and a whole lot of hardware to their coast in addition to the troops stationed in S. Korea.

  5. You do have to wonder … Polite Kool Marxist has a good point! Is Mr. Cruz so derelict a congressman he can’t dial up the generals for a head’s up? I think this is simply a way to garner the tinfoil hat vote. Cruz is a snake in the grass.

Or, as Jim Wright so aptly put it “And just because you have the word “Senator” in front of your name doesn’t mean you’re sane, rational, qualified to run the country, or have an IQ higher than that of a sea cucumber.”

Don A in Pennsyltucky, speaking of sea cucumbers, sea squirts and demagogues floating around the Koch bowl in need of a flush, where’s the Iowa Pig Sticker? She promised us squeals … 5 months and counting without a sound.

There are just so, so many implications in Cruz’s decision to pander to the stupidest level of our society.

I wonder if Ted “reached out” to the Pentagon the same way he “reached out” to John McCain.

  11. Yeah, I like it that the feds haven’t been “trustworthy” under, as I think Jim Wright has said, the socialist Kenyan Muslim dictator, as opposed to how honest, thorough, and cerebral they were under Shrub and his puppetmasters.

    11
  12. The federal government has demonstrated itself to be a lot more trustworthy than Ted Cruz has. The feds give us Social Security. Ted gives us crazy.

  14. Ralph Wiggam says:

It’s a false flag operation! Ted is working to ensure the election of Hillary by making the Republican party look loonier than a Warner Bros. cartoon. All we need is Mel Blanc’s voice-over to complete the image. And when Hillary wins in 2016, the Republican motto will be “That’s All Folks!”
