Mnuchin: Dark Money in Politics? No Problem.

July 18, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Dark Money

Steve Mnuchin’s Treasury Department announced on Monday that political advocacy groups like the NRA no longer need to report the sources of their money to the IRS.  This policy undoes a decades old regulation that shined a light on political non-profits and the source of their money.  Mnuchin said,

“Americans shouldn’t be required to send the IRS information that it doesn’t need to effectively enforce our tax laws, and the IRS simply does not need tax returns with donor names and addresses to do its job in this area.”

There is a place for anger, and THIS is it.

Misspoke Has Morphed Into Misled

Okay, so a lie is a lie is a lie is a lie.

(Typing that made me feel like a back-up singer in a Hawaiian band.)

But, here’s the deal.

That’s the headline.

Then we get to the story.

Steve Mnuchin, former chairman and chief executive officer of OneWest Bank, known for its aggressive foreclosure practices, flatly denied in testimony before the Senate Finance Committee that OneWest used “robo-signing” on mortgage documents.

But records show the bank utilized the questionable practice in Ohio.

“The guy is just lying. There’s no other way to say it,” said Bill Faith, executive director of the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio.

You can read the whole horror stories of what this sumbitch did.  What he did was steal people’s houses.  Gleefully.  I suspect he shaved off his Snidely Whiplash mustache right before the hearing but he still has Miss Nell tied up somewhere.

If he will lie in a sworn statement and commit raw perjury to get this job, what the fool tarnation do you expect him to do under the sweet protective arm of Donald Trump and Steve Bannon?

He’s gonna screw us all.

New Treasury Secretary- No Treasury or Government Experience

November 29, 2016 By: El Jefe Category: 2016 Election, Trump

Our new treasury secretary is Steve Mnuchin of Goldman Sachs and X Men fame. He has no monetary, treasury, or government experience, so is only slightly more qualified than who I thought was the leading candidate, Bernie Madoff.
