Super Scam

May 06, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Crooks can stop robbing banks because there’s now a simpler way to take money that ain’t yours.

They are called political Super Pacs.

Allow me to introduce you to the newest entry into the get-rich-thanks-to-Antonin-Salia club.

His name is Michael Galloway and he owns Your Catholic Voice Foundation, a nonprofit supposedly feeding children and stopping abortions.  But mainly, it’s keeping Michael Galloway living high on the hog.

Galloway was indicted for tax evasion in June of last year.

For the four charged years, Galloway reported an income of $13,241 (2003); $28,846 (2004); -$60,438 (2005); and -$37,438 (2006), yet paid personal bills during those years of $167,318 (2003); $170,004 (2004); $135,941 (2005); and $178,458 (2006). Cumulatively, the indictment alleges that he underreported his and his spouse’s taxable income during those years by $1,006,167, resulting in an additional tax due and owing of $234,473.

And that ain’t all …

Yeah, the whole Catholic thing didn’t work out for him, so he opened a Super Pac last week called – get ready for it – We Are America.

Ain’t this country great!

Thanks to Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen for the heads up.

Be social and share!

  1. Amazing, or really not I guess. It’s so disheartening to see this kind of story because I know there are little old ladies (not unlike my mother) who contribute to these organizations, money that they really couldn’t afford but did anyway thinking they were doing some good. I’ve often said I want to be at the gates of hell to give these vermin a swift kick in the rear on their way down.

I’m betting that Pope Paco will eventually speak out on this scam. He’s certainly given his opinion, officially or otherwise, on more things than any 10 previous Popes have done. Seriously, this is why I no longer even donate to outfits like the local PTA or become a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. I just don’t trust any such outfits any more.

  3. This country may never undo the damage caused by the Scalia court. Thank you President Reagan!

  4. Aggieland Liz says:

Yeah he was trying to follow the Hannity model. Oh well, you cannot serve both God and Mammon. Where did I hear that now…?

  5. Biggomama says:

Though an agnostic, can’t help but hope there is a spiritual being that will punish opractitioners of this oldest and foulest of con jobs. Either in the now or in some sweet by and by “when we meet on that beautiful shore”.

  6. Polite Kool Marxist says:

“Christian” ‘Conservatives’ meet Mike Galloway, then get back to me on why you feel the mockery toward you is undeserved and that the fake war of yours defending Christmas and Christianity isn’t a fundraiser.

Whoever wins in 2016, they’re a damn fool if the first person they consider as FEC chairman isn’t Alfredo. H/T for another great follow the money accounting exposé!

Might just be me, but I don’t think the present day version by TV-evangelicals and their Taliban-Christo-Fascist mouth breather buddies is what “Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition” was supposed to mean, when Frank Loesser wrote it.

  7. Marcia in CO says:

This is absolutely disgusting and it is this type of ass-wipes who ruin religion for so many!!

    7
  8. AKLynne says:

I think it’s a shame that Jesus takes such a bad rap for all these bastards who scam in the name of religion.

  9. I did some searching and it looks like he’s been running Catholic scams a long time…

I wonder if the church was sweeping their losses to him under the carpet like they did with the Pedophile Priests…

Or if the long arm of the law is just slow to react…

    9
  10. Biggomama, I think that the spiritual punishment is that these people are who they are–not a fate I’d wish on anyone. They may be oblivious to the fact that they are human vermin, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are and that diminishes them. There is so much that they simply never experience.

    10
  11. Jesus chased the moneychangers out of the temple, but they’ve been sneaking back in ever since. As L. Ron Hubbard said, religion is a great way to fleece people.

  12. Lorraine in Spring says:

I despise these greedy cretins. There’s a special place in Hell for people like this. Hopefully it will include them having to carry their precioussss mammon on their backs for eternity.

    In pennies, of course.

  13. linda phipps says:

Oh, Maggie, don’t give up on everyone … a good place to still contribute sensibly is PFAW. (And THEY break my rule to avoid any organization with “American”, “Core Value” “Patriot”, “Council”, “Research”, “Family” and a few others in the name. It’s a red flag.)

    13
  14. Maybe we need to drug test these SuperPAC people.

  15. e platypus onion says:

@ Aggieland Liz-I watched Pale Rider on Sundance Channel last night. Can’t buy Preacher Clint Eastwood.

    15
  16. I find his hairdo bizarre…..that’s all I need to know. is that a hairpiece in the back? i see him in discos looking for underage girls. or whatever he needs all that money for.

  17. maryelle says:

Religious fools and their money are ungodly easily parted and the wolves among us know where to hunt for their prey.
Hope the IRS throws everything they have at him.
