Slapping Around Christmas is Such Fun

July 25, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

During Trump’s bizarre speech to the Boy Scouts, he said, “Under a Trump Administration, you’ll be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again as you go shopping.”

Because, you know, Obama made that illegal.  Verdelia says she accidentally said Merry Christmas at the Walmart and George Soros ran into the store and slapped her with a 48DD from the ladies department.

And, y’all, since Trump lies so much I don’t know if we can trust his word on this so I’m gonna take it on a test drive.  I intend the go down to the Dairy Queen this evening and greet everyone at the door with, “Merry Christmas.”  Unless Hillary Clinton comes in and smashes me with a medium cone with chocolate shell, I’ll know that Trump is finally telling the truth.

And why can you only say it while shopping? You can’t say it at the bowling alley or Jaime’s Taco Hut?  How ’bout your synagogue?   Can you say it there?  Look, if you can only say it while shopping, I’m gonna be screwed because … Amazon.

Merry Christmas, ya’ll, because I like living dangerously.

  1. I wonder if Jared and Ivanka will be forced to say “Merry Christmas” too.

  2. Because obviously there are no greater issues in America than pushing your religion into everyone’s face, First Amendment be damned. And while we’re establishing a state religion, we can rip out those troublesome bits about freedom of speech, press, and assembly. And petitioning the government for a redress of grievances– that will cover all the town halls we’re not having.

  3. “Under a Trump Administration, you’ll be saying..”

“I’m trapped. Get me out of here.”

  4. Donnie forgot to mention that, under a Trump administration, saying allahu akbar will get you beaten or deported. Guess he figured that would be handled at the scoutmaster level.

  6. Come to think of it, even before a Trump administration I was putting Christ back into the Christmas season. Last year in December 2016 I found myself regularly waking up in the morning, turning on the news, and blurting out, “Christ, what did Trump just say?”

  7. “Instead of worrying about putting Christ back into Christmas, how about putting Christ back into [a lot of] Christians?”

  13. Maybe we’ll all be saying it in Russian before too long.

    С Рождеством, y’all!

  14. I’ve noticed in the last couple of days that the checkers at Wally World aren’t saying ‘Have a Blessed Day’ quite as much as they have in the past. I’m wondering if retail is catching onto the fact that not everyone wants religion shoved in their face everywhere they go.

  15. As for that cuss word rant at the Boy Scout Jamboree, apparently this was standard speech in NYC for all the Trumps, including – are you ready for this? — Ivanka. She has three small children. The one difference between her and daddy smearest is that she knows when to shut up and do the Lady thing.

  16. Thank you, Rhea! My sentiments exactly! Paying lip service to Christianity is merely form & formality, not an ounce of substance to be seen. What does it profit anyone to say “Merry Christmas!” while abusing, rejecting, and denying the needs of millions!?! These con artists are the most evil individuals of my lifetime.

Similar thoughts. But then one can be a republican or a Christian. Not both. The GOP is unchristian, soulless, immoral, and evil. Evil darker than any in decades. They must be stopped beginning with traitor trump and his corrupt administration, corrupt crime family and all the sycophants and toadies.

There was a time not so long ago that I would have argued with you or anyone else that said one’s political posture said anything about their belief and worship of any particular deity. But that was a time ago. Today I fully agree with you and others who opine that Republicanism is the antithesis of Christianity. It is also the antithesis of Islam. And Judaism. And Hindu. And every ancestor worship cult that has ever existed in Japan. Indeed, as @Tilphousia says above, Republicans of the past few years are “soulless, immoral, and evil”.
