Prepping for the Trials

March 17, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Trump

Chaos.  Absolute chaos.  Just this week:

  • Trump threatens porn star Stormy Daniels with $20 million in damage claims and petitions to move the local case to federal court.
  • Trump fires Tillerson and will replace with loyalist Mike Pompeo, now infesting the CIA.
  • Pompeo will be replaced by CIA black site torturer, Gina Haspel.
  • McMaster is likely to be fired any day.
  • Kelley is still on the chopping block.
  • Larry Kudlow, Trump loyalist and CNBC loudmouth, is Trump’s new economic advisor.
  • John Bolton, Fox News talker and little angry man with an angrier mustache, is said to be Trump’s new national security advisor.
  • Out of the blue, Donald Trump, Jr. announced an uncontested divorce from wife of 12 years, Vanessa.
  • Deputy FBI director, Andrew McCabe, is fired two days before his pension is to become vested.

So, in all this chaos, what in the hell is going on?  First, Trump thrives on chaos and loves the drama he stirs up in the press.  He loves to piss people off.  He’s maintaining his trashy reality show personality by continuously firing people or threatening to fire people or demanding someone be fired for something.  That’s clear.  But, what else is going on?  Who knows, but what’s apparent is that the Trumps are prepping for the coming trials.

His Orangeness is sweeping the administration of professionals who may not be absolute loyalists.  He’s installing people who possess the primary qualification of being Trumpist first, and actually qualified for the job second.  He’s preparing to stonewall Mueller’s probe at all costs, and will fill WH vacancies with those (like Kudlow) who won’t cooperate with anyone outside Trump’s inner circle.   He’s also working hard to discredit the FBI generally, Comey and McAbe specifically because they will both be witnesses against him.

Lastly, I believe that the Donald Jr. divorce is nothing but a dodge to help protect some of his assets when he’s charged, and likely convicted of any number of offenses like colluding with the Russians to lying to investigators.  Nothing else makes any sense.

The Reality Television Show administration continues.

Trump the Lying, Cheating, Bully, is also the most petty, Weak SOB, ever. And a Traitor to boot. God help us.

    (oops, reposted to correct thread)

    News Item:
pResident Trump will take valuable time out from his golfing on Sunday to vote for his BFF Vladimir Putin in the Russian elections (by special remote technical means). Thereby returning the favor (in a small way) Putin did him with the 2016 US election.

SOBOTUS tweets: ‘It’s a huge honor to cast my vote for the finest leader I’ve ever known, he richly deserves another term! Perhaps the great Russian people will simply eliminate such bothersome distractions as elections (as I wish to do here).
President Putin will continue to MRGA and assist me with MAGA!
Vlad has helped me so much, and he continues to provide me with fantastic advice. The doors to Mar-A-Lago and the White House are always open to him!’
So looking forward to our next chat and a visit ASAP.

  3. There will be plenty of chaos in Hell for Trump to enjoy when he ultimately arrives there.

  4. Charles R Phillips says:

Jefe, I believe you’re wrong in just one way; Trump doesn’t hire people who are ‘qualified’ because that’s not his or Putin’s plan. He hired the least qualified, most-certain-to-make-a-molehill-out-of-this mountain sh!tbirds he can find.

It’s the chaos theory of government, and he loves it.

Putin knew exactly how to bring our country down without firing a shot. Installing this moron and the Rethugs in power has made America extremely vulnerable to increased attack. No wonder North Korea wants to talk. They can put anything over on Dastardly Don, and Ryan and McConnell will swallow it whole.
Tillerson was fired for standing up to the Russians and McMasters will go for the very same reason, no matter what the administration says. We can’t wait for Mueller, something has to be done ASAP!

    5
  6. Something hs to be done ASAP? Yup. but don’t count on the Repubs to do anything like they did with Nixon. Best we can hope for is a sudden resignation from the Golden Gibbon when it becomes apparent even to his granite brain that the has bit off more than he could ever chew in one lifetime. This push may even come form his own family which he will immediately disown, then sulk for awhile until he figures out a way to go in grand style. In the meantime, the mid terms can’t get here fast enough for a turnover in the House and Senate that will begin impeachment hearings with or even without anything from Mueller.

As for McCabe, He got the rottenest shaft. I am seeing a law firm that will pick him up for safe keeping until he can get his entire pension returned thorium by the court.

One other thing that may change the entire picture – something happens to Putin. Yes, I know. Since he controls everything thats just about impossible but hey Karma has a passport.

  7. I don’t know – sounds a little mafioso also to me. All this allegiance to the “Don” at any cost.

I would love to see him lower the chopping block on that little weasel Sessions though. What a horrible creature he is.

    7
  8. Nero with his fiddle was nothing compared to this.

    8
  9. Maggie: Obviously the Repubs are as treasonous, venal and stupid as Rump. They will do nothing.

If the Repubs won’t do anything, the intel agencies might. The very federal intel/law inforcement agencies that Rump has tried to eviserate and discredit, will eventually fight back. It has happened before. They know what treason and fascism look like. They may be the ones that will stop our present WH from destroying this country. We can hope it happens soon..

    9
  10. chaos—on and on, what is so mind boggling is the 35-38 percent of trump voters who still think el trumpo is the greatest (pat robertson good example)

    10
  11. Charles R Phillips says:

The one thing that Mueller can do–and should–is get an indictment against Trump/Trump family as soon as possible. Like, Monday if possible. Mueller has plenty of evidence of obstruction, ethics violations, etc. With an indictment in hand, nobody can fire him without overwhelming cause.

    11
  12. With due respect to previous posters, I hope Mueller continues at the same velocity and vector.

Going forward, I’d like to see indictments of Drumpf/GOP enablers like
    1. Roger Stone
    2. Jared Kushner
    3. Donald Drumpf JR
    4. Julian Assange/WikiLeaks

And dare one hope Mueller can connect the dots to indict and prosecute
    1. Paul Ryan
    2. McTurtle
    3. Reince Priebus
    4. Mike Pence
    5. Lindsey Graham
for their roles in recruiting, encouraging, and campaigning for Drumpf, this “disgraced demagogue”.

    12
  13. That Other Jean says:

@ Maggie: What do you have against gibbons, to slander them so, by comparing them to Trump? Also–I doubt that Trump’s family will turn on him. It seems to me more likely that he will throw them under the bus, if that’s what it takes to shield himself.

Also, I don’t think we should consider impeachment until we have enough votes–which means enough Democrats–in both houses to not only impeach Trump, but to find him guilty and remove him from office. Let Mr. Mueller get all his ducks in a row, take down a bunch of Trump associates and family, and maybe Trump will resign, rather go down in disgrace. Of course, Trump’s resignation would leave him open to Mueller’s charges without the complication of his being a sitting president, so who knows? This is Twilight Zone territory.

    13
  14. When you give a malignant narcissist a stage, cruel chaos will follow, bigly!
Trump’s addicted to the power of attention, good or bad. Hide the sharp objects please.

“While narcissists are common,[citation needed] malignant narcissists are less common.[citation needed] A notable difference between the two is the feature of sadism, or the gratuitous enjoyment of the pain of others. A narcissist will deliberately damage other people in pursuit of their own selfish desires, but may regret and will in some circumstances show remorse for doing so, while a malignant narcissist will harm others and enjoy doing so, showing little empathy or regret for the damage they have caused.”

  15. RepubAnon says:

I expect North Korea will give Trump a “win” by promising to give up their nuclear ambitions if Trump pulls all the US troops out of South Korea. Trump will do so, especially if he gets a big parade in his honor.

The side agreement will be that as soon as the US gets into a war with Iran, North Korea will invade South Korea… and it will turn out that North Korea kept their missile programs and nuclear weapons ready to go.

    15
  16. MICR:

    There will be blow-back.

    16
  17. We will be living with Trump for the next 6 1/2 years. Settle in and get used to it. The Ds had their heads up their asses and let all Tom Delay gerrymander the whole country. The DC Republicans will let Trump do any damn thing he wants.

Until the Democrats provide people with a reason to vote, the Tea party rules.

Sorry to be such a wet blanket.

    17
  18. There’s a story at CNN online now that McCabe kept notes of all his meetings and calls with the Rump. Wonder if Mueller has these.

    18
  19. “Lastly, I believe that the Donald Jr. divorce is nothing but a dodge to help protect some of his assets”

considering it has been reported that the wife hired a Criminal defense lawyer as her divorce lawyer.
    So
    Either
    A) You are right and this just shows further attempts to protect assetts.

    B) The woman saw where this was going and decided to get out before she gets implicated in some crime.
Getting a criminal lawyer is just an acknowledgement that she knows she is dealing with a crime family.

    Or a bit of both

    19
  20. The chaos of people out and people in and incompetents and sudden departures and the snarky jerk at the top…. This might be entertaining on reality TV, but it’s a lousy way to run a company, and it’s literally an incredibly bad way to run a country, even an obscure country. To have this happening in a country that was, a year and a half ago, probably the world leader is…. I have no words.

Okay, I have a lot of words, but mama has her cake of soap.

    20
  21. Papa, I don’t understand why folks on the intertubes are surprised that there are meeting notes. I was a lowly professor and I had a whole shelf of meeting/phone/daydreaming notebooks that spanned years. You never know when something that was said 2 years ago by some colleague will be important. Heck, I’ve got a special notebook just for calls with my mom’s doctors.

    21
  22. So Comey tweeted “Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.”
It seems to me he has been amazingly silent given how much the Douchebag in chief has sh*t on him. But he comes out with this the day after Donnie fires McCabe, denying him the pension he worked his entire adult life for. If repugnantcans have 3 brain cells shared among them, they’ll get behind Comey. I can’t imagine a better opportunity for repugnantcans to extricate themselves from this walking putrid cesspool of a president.
Of course tomorrow’s a new day, and Donnie keeps finding his phone, so I guess the potential for better opportunities is always there.

    22
  23. eyesoars says:

“… and actually qualified for the job second.”

Why would qualifications or competence matter at all to the Angry Talking Yam?

I’ve certainly not seen any evidence it does, and considerable evidence it does not.

    24
  24. Seems as if there was a starting point for the latest bleep storm of insane tweets from the Golden Gibbon. Mueller sent over a list of questions for Trump to review prior to a face to face. the list was supposed to be innocuous but that’ not how the golden Gibbon saw it. He is really, really crazy scared.

    25
  25. twocrows says:

I liked Drumpf so much better when he was a reality show dude. Then I could simply choose not to watch. Now, I have no choice — I must watch him because I want that 15 minute alert just after the missiles begin to fly. And you know they will — when he has no other method to take people’s minds off the investigation. just wait.
