Okay, It Happened

August 01, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

According to damn good sources, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is being indicted on three felony charges on Monday.  He’s already been indicted but it won’t be announced until about noon on Monday.

He joins Tom DeLay and Rick Perry as the Three Crookateers.

He’s already claiming political retaliation.  What a jerk.

My article in Outsmart this month concerns Ken Paxton and Glen Maxey.  They didn’t indict him before press deadline.

Be social and share!

  1. Hope your sources are right!

  2. It seems like “Under Indictment” is a TX Republican’s middle name.

  3. Fingers crossed, toes crossed, can’t find anything else to cross . . . oh, wait! Eyes!

Tip of the iceberg. Empower Alfredo to follow the money and shine a light on all the deserving UN-indicted co-conspirators, too.

  5. Ralph Wiggam says:

NY Times points out “the first Texas attorney general in more than 30 years to be indicted while in office,” I guess that’s a record?

Isn’t it interesting that the Republican Party feels that any attempt to enforce the law is a form of political retaliation? Sounds like strong evidence of how Republicans view laws in general.

Wingnuts see the law purely as a political hammer to bludgeon Gays, old folks, actual children, the poor .immigrants and Liberals with.

  10. Glen Maxey says:

I just filed a second complaint with the Texas Bar. This one asking that he be disbarred. Terrific way to spend the first day of my vacation.

It’s so nice to be able to write down your complaints with these criminals.

  11. Glen Maxey says:

There is a typo in the headline of this post.

It should have been: “Okay, GOOD SHit Happened.”

Glen Maxey, great job, sir, and enjoy your well-deserved vacation!

If they so choose, The World’s Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc., includes a magnificent slate of candidates & people to kick Republicon butt from Texas to DC.

  13. Does he have to resign or do they get to fire him?
Or does he get to stay in office till he goes to jail?

My sincerely held religious beliefs thinks he should be made to issue marriage licenses to guy couples

Just gotta mention, reading everybody’s comments restores my faith in humanity. At this point of the week, that’s a true blessing.

That was some zinger of an article, J.J. I’d like to join all of your churches, but most especially the Church of High Spirits.
Unfortunately, with Republican justice what it is in Texas, can we count on Paxton getting his just desserts?
    Three Crookateers! magnificent!

  16. Hollyanna says:

Good on you, Glen Maxey! Leave no stone unturned, so this snake has nowhere to hide. What part of upholding the law does the AG not comprehend?

Unfortunately the scalawag gets to remain in office. When will the public demand his resignation or does an indicted politician deserve an honor badge in this state.

    17
  18. @Glen Maxey
    @JJ
Each of you rock in your respective spheres in interest. Please keep it up!

    18
  19. And yet none of these three have yet served time in jail, have they? It’s almost as if our justice system doesn’t apply to the rich and famous.

    19
  20. Glen and JJ, you two are the best; keep up the good work. Wish I could do more than cheer for you.

    20
  21. My first time to say howdy to you. I found you in a link on crooksandliers. I spent 15 years in Beaumont and Houston so I know the area well.
I am an old white guy liberal. Not enough of around that can say that, but to give you an idea, Molly Ivins was my number one hero.
I expect to check in now and then.

  22. Wa Skeptic says:

I’m just not so sure that actual justice will be done to these crooks in Texas; look at Tom DeLay.

“Dance with them what brung ya” seems to be the abiding rule in Texas, and if that means subverting the course of justice in full sight of the world, so be it.

    22
  23. Thank you, Mr. Maxey.

    23
  24. YIPEE – I do go along with Diane’s idea about making Kenny issue gay marriage licenses while he awaits trial – hopefully, the Texas Board of Professional Responsibility will disbar him shortly.

    24
  25. My question: Does he have enough friends in high enough places to DeLay this?

    25
  26. Elizabeth Moon says:

Glen, since you have opened the door, I think I’ll take your example and make my own complaint to the Texas Bar. Paxton’s a disgrace to the noble profession and yes, I did take my tongue out of my cheek and force it down into its anatomically correct position. (My carefully taught respect for lawyers was shaken to the core by a talk Percy Foreman gave to the women of Jones College, Rice University when I was a freshman. You can imagine, I’m sure.)

Republicans are in favor of “law and order” only when it applies to the lower orders–anyone but themselves, and especially all persons of color and all who can’t afford high-priced defense attorneys.

  28. JJ and Glen Maxey.

Thank you both for ALL you do.

    Good job on this.

All the hard work you both do…. is much appreciated.

    28
  29. Marge Wood says:

Are we all allowed to file complaints like Glen did or does one have to have some special license on the wall?
I’m gonna tell Ken Herman about Glen’s complaints. Ken said he too thought it was kinda strange when Paxton encouraged law breaking, being as how Paxton was kinda in trouble with the law himself at the time.
