Oh Wait!

September 11, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

So, I saw a headline over at Politico that said, “Democrats plotting primaries against a slate of GOP incumbents.”

No, wait.  That’s not what it says.

Well, okey dokey.  That sounds plenty fine, too.

  1. Maybe there’s going to be a Republican civil war?

Maybe the south (or east or west or north) is finally going to rise again! in an attempt to take away the inalienable rights of some individuals.
    Like the good ol’ days.

  2. I’m all for it, especially if it means the end of Lyin’ Ryan. Top off my schadenfreude with a Democratic House and Senate, please.

  3. WaPo has a story on this topic too. Plus a scathing take on the 60 Minutes kid gloves interview of the spoiled and yeasty version of the Pillsbury doughboy.

  4. Mah Fellow Murkuhn says:

The candidates Bannon will recruit will not be moderate, nor even sane. If they win seats, the House will be in even worse trouble than it already is in. But on the bright side, maybe they’ll be so insane they won’t get elected. The Democratic Party could take back the House. Wouldn’t that be something?

  5. JAKvirginia says:

Oh… so the R party isn’t mean-spirited enough for BanMan?

  6. This doesn’t encourage me.

The portion of a community that elects a Louie or a Blake or a Steve King simply will not elect anyone that is certifiably sane on election day or even remotely moderate.

Maybe instead of trying to fix the snacilbupeR gerrymandering the $hit out of the map, we should be pressuring Congress for voter psychological evaluations before they can register to vote.

  7. Yeah. Just what that party needs. Sabotage. And it could be broken irrevocably by such nastiness. Bye, bye 2020.

  8. I’m with Micr. Until R voters stop pulling the R lever no matter who the hell is on the ballot, we’re not going to improve the sanity rating of Congress or any other political body.

  9. elise from CA says:

yeah, Debbo, good ol’ Charlie did his best to legitimize the hideous Scrofulous Steve. My understanding (I can’t bring myself to watch that scumbag) is that he wasn’t asked anything about his connection to the mercers, who are behind his idiocy. What’s their agenda? Now that would be worth a 60 minutes segment. Instead we get a thinly veiled attempt to portray this crackpot as a legitimate political theorist.

Go write another failed screenplay, steve. Oh, wait, actual sentient human being George Clooney says you suck at that, too.

  10. Bannon has no idea – none whatever – how badly he has damaged his political self. It matters not that he often phones the Barking Yam and they yak senselessly with each other. Brietbart has had it. They have lost advertisers by the carload. He may have to dig into his own deep pocket to keep it and himself afloat. The 60 minute interview containing that rip on immigrants and the RC church showed just how smart he isn’t. He actually does not know a Gospel value when he stomps on it. If the RC church wanted big money they would work to fill their pews with millionaires and billionaires and never bother with anyone of lesser bankbook. Their attention to the beleaguered immigrant, legal or undocumented, comes from Matthew 25. Course Bannon has never heard of that, right? And he also never heard of the old saying, if you insult one religion you insult them all.
