Oh Bob Corker, Good Job Using Your Words

October 08, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Republican Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee was a major supporter of Donald Trump’s and was even considered for the Veep position.  He was close friends with Trump.

But, as Trump is apt to do, no friendship or marriage lasts very long.

Last week, Corker told reporters that Mathis, Tillerson, and Kelly “are those people that help separate our country from chaos.”  Corker can say that since he’s announced that he’s not seeking reelection and has not one flip left to give.

So here it is, Sunday Morning and Trump goes wacko on The Twitter Machine.  He says that Coker begged him for an endorsement.  Trump tweets that he refuse.  So Corker, according to Trump, decided not to run again because he knew he needed Trump’s endorsement to win in Tennessee.

That’s an odd story even on the face of it, but it’s not true according to people who would know.  On edit: now more people coming forward to say Trump’s tweet is a lie.

Corker, who was obviously expecting this, was ready.

Jimmy Kimmel whipped up on Don, Jr. on Twitter.  So, maybe a few folks are willing to take on a dopey guy.

Okay. I don’t fancy Corker, but I would definitely upvote his tweet. That was sassy!

(An endorsement from Trump? Strange-er things have happened. *wink*)

One more thing I never, ever, thought I’d say: Way to go, Bob Corker!

  3. See… it is possible to write a tweet in English with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation! Why I bet, even the North Koreans understood what Corker was trying to say.
