The Atlantic has a gotcha! story about the city of Brotherly Love. A block walker for Clinton discovers —
A few houses down, a middle-aged black woman with carefully penciled-in eyebrows and curly, graying hair answered the door. She looked at the Clinton flier and frowned. “I’m sorry, I’m voting for Trump,” she said, handing the flier back to Lewis.
Then she doubled over with laughter. “I lied! Gotcha!” She wiped her eyes, and leaned against the door frame. “No way in hell.”
Look, I have no problem with keeping Democrats scared to death that Trump might win, but the race is not tightening. But, please keep that a secret.

But, but, but, “the Blacks” love Donnie, or at least until one looks beyond the smoke screen. Behind Donnie we observe a bunch of WHITE folks holding “Blacks for Donnie” signs. Then, if you inspect really close, there is one man of color holding the same sign.
He’s not an “Uncle Tom,” and POC cannot be blamed for him. He’s the ‘crazy’ relative in serious need of the ACA, much like Newt Gingrich, but way more lovable.

The race did tighten a tiny bit, but Clinton is so far ahead that it’s irrelevant. And the Senate races are trending Dem, which is of far more importance than a minor shift in the Presidential race.
The House is likely going to stay Repub, but less so. Paul Ryan is not going to be in a good position, assuming he can even get reelected as Speaker. Most of the most rabid WingNuts will be back, but several moderate Repubs are likely to lose. It seems likely the Repubs will be even more divided than before and the Dems will have a few more votes to play with. The Speaker can either go with the WingNuts and do nothing or compromise with the Dems. But any Speaker who compromises will likely lose his job.
If it weren’t for the damage done to the country I would be enjoying this.
5I look at http://fivethirtyeight.com, Nate Silver’s site “religiously” every day, usually more than once a day. As long as he says not to worry, I can keep the palpitations in check.
6Only Trump could speak in such a clueless, condescending, Blacksplaining manner, guaranteed to get him even fewer votes:

10I have come to the conclusion that the Trump rallies are actually performance art. bad performance art I grant you, and I bet if you actually did a careful analysis of those pictures, you’d find that many of the same people show up at all of them, kind of an evil version of Dead Heads.
200 hundred years from, as school children are sitting in their required US History class, this campaign will be singled out as the one that finally, completely, proved P.T. Barnum was right.
11Love this story! And that women would have made me laugh right along with her. She needed that laugh. After all the crap of this campaign she needed it, god love her. The walker’s stunned expression was probably comedy gold.
12My daughter, a 23 year old white girl from Fort Bend County TX, recently moved to NJ. She volunteered to do some block walking to sign up new voters in Philadelphia. She & her fellow volunteers did get a few voters signed up (for Hil, of course), but the most interesting moment, she thought, was when a woman inside one of the houses was heard to yell (presumably to her kids) “y’all get in here, there’s white people outside!” Ummmm.

As a frumpy person, I take exception to that.
On the outside I’m shabby, but on the inside, I consider myself reasonably chic.
Though I am totally baffled by the many woman of a certain age and a certain body type who so ardently support Trump. You know he has nothing but utter contempt for them.
