New Texas Super PAC

October 26, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, I’m gonna tell you about a new Texas PAC.

The name of it is — please enjoy this — “Young Minds Pursuing Righteousness.”

No, I absolutely am not kidding.  It is based in Dipping Springs, Texas.  I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that this is a Republican PAC.

And here’s a fun fact.  The Designated Agent for this PAC is Stephen James Curran and, according to official state records, he’s 56 years old.  Maybe he’s “young” at heart, I dunno.  He votes in Republican primaries.

However, the treasurer, Emily Michelle Curran, is not a registered voter in Texas.

Okay, now I’m thinking this is a Russian deal.

Hell, it could be an Oklahoma deal.

Thanks to Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen for the heads up.

Be social and share!

Sounds pretty fishy to me! Of course, 56 is a lot younger than I, but I do not consider 56 as a young mind – but maybe he is young is the art of righteousness 🙂

As for young Ms. Curran, I don’t believe one needs to a registered voter to scam dollars out of voters or followers of the Dotard. One just needs to be a self-identified GOPer.

I suppose it’s only a matter of time before we discover that pursuit takes place in Texas Highway Safety Rest Area bathrooms.

Pretty sure that you meant “Dripping Springs”, in Hays County.
Which IIRC, is a bit more liberal of a place than many/most others in the Hill Country, not that they don’t have hordes of RWNJ’s back in the arroyos.

  4. As far as 56 y/o Mr. Curran being young? Hell, I’d been retired two years before reaching that advanced age.
My guess is he’s a part-time evangeliban ‘pastor’ in some nearby fundie church, and sees an opportunity to fire up a lucrative new grifting operation that he can skim some GOPer gravy off of.

  5. I bet my dogs are more righteous that Steve. What he is full of is most likely is self-righteousness-which is NOT a good quality.

  6. It’s somewhat telling that the acronym might be pronounced “Whimper”…

  7. Seriously, the minute you see an outfit with a name like that . . .

  8. But Curran does have the mind of a small child…

…sitting in a jar on his desk.

Come on. I couldn’t be the first person who remembered that one…

Let me guess–their definition of “righteousness” has to do with propping up the orange monstrosity in the White House.

    Righteous my ass.

  10. I was going to guess that ‘young’ Mr. Curran was a preacher, but Sandridge beat me to it.

Couldn’t find a local church, but a little looking turned up a ‘financial-mgmt consulting’ CPA firm. And ownership of over $1M in Hays real estate (always possible that other RE/minerals is held under a biz entity name).
    So donate with caution, they’re pro’s ( /snark ).
