It’s Raining Republicans

August 01, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Oh y’all, this morning, even damn old Mitch McConnell figured out what was going on in the war between Donald Trump and goodness and mercy.  The result was that we get to see how fast a turtle can run —

images“Captain Khan was an American hero, and like all Americans I’m grateful for the sacrifices selfless young men like Captain Khan and their families have made for the war on terror,” McConnell said.

And John McCain got even, too.

Sen. John McCain accused Donald Trump of defaming Khizr Khan and argued the Republican presidential candidate does not represent the GOP.

“While our Party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us,” McCain said in a statement Monday.

Trump?  Well, he’s still saying —

“While I feel deeply for the loss of his son, Mr. Khan who has never met me, has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution, (which is false) and say many other inaccurate things,” Trump said.

Uh, did he say “no right”?  Dude, that right there is prima facia evidence that indeed you have never read the Constitution.

Oh, poor Donnie is saying Mr. Khan is attacking him … has attacked him!! And Dumbo Donnie has done nothing BUT attack the Khan’s!
Ha … “no right” … he has, as an American citizen, every damned right in the book to stand and confront Dumbo Donnie!!
I am so utterly sick of Trump … sick of all the ignorant GOP a-holes!!
And they are still hanging onto the damned email crap … they can’t even accept the FBI’s final word and from a Republican, yet!!
I absolutely hate every one of them!!

  2. Y’all, I’m not gonna be able to make it to election day stone cold sober. Is there enough wine in the world to drown the sumbitch and the people who selected him out?

Each and every time i think Trump cannot get lower, he does.

  3. Polite Kool Marxist says:

All these snacilbupeR ‘stepping up’ ever so late to to “declare” ever so weakly that perhaps Donnie Drumpf has stepped over the line should be sent the words of Rev Niemöller with a 21st century adaptation.

They didn’t speak when so many lied about Planned Parenthood.
They didn’t speak when Loathsome Ted lied about shutting down the government.
They didn’t speak when Trey Gowdy lied about HRC.
They didn’t speak when Dubya and cabal sent us on a path of war and economic destruction.
So many lied, so many times, and they did not speak.
And now, they cry because they’re stuck with Donnie?

I could end that stanza with ‘two words’ for them. But I won’t state the obvious.

Donald may have read The Constitution a time or two.

It doesn’t mean he understands it.

It contains Youuge concepts, ideas and some words he may need to look up.

    Just Saying…..

    4
  5. WOW! Just wow.

Gonna take some time for me to get over this gobsmaking!

US Constitution. First Amendment. Protects one’s words from governmental retaliation or censorship. Says Hair Drumpf “… has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim…”

It would be sit-com funny if it wasn’t just so damn sad. For me, Hair Drumpf has used up every second of his 15 minutes and I’m past ready for him to just fade away.

  6. maryelle says:

As horrendous as it is to hear this moron spew, remember, he’s talking himself right out of the presidency. His base doesn’t care, but they can’t give him a win. The rest of Americans are so appalled at what comes out of his mouth, that they are uniting against him. The Rethuglican leadership just can’t shut him up. He’s been caught lying and exaggerating and he’s showing just how little he knows about foreign affairs and domestic policy. Drumpfie, tell us more.

  7. i hope “dumbo donnie” joins youuge as every day speech

  8. Jill Ann says:

This is why he’s already scrambling to weasel out of debating Hilz….he knows she’ll eviscerate him with all her “facts” and stuff, and it is true the more the relatively sane people hear him, the less likely they are to vote for him. Really, really hoping he has to debate her.

  9. Rastybob says:

Not only dose he have a Right, he has a Duty to call a Traitor a Traitor. A Thin Skinned, Short Fingered, Vulgarian, Traitor.
I have a Son that made it back Thank God. And I have a Grand son that is in harms way right now. Will be for a long time. You never saw any member Of the Trump clan fight for this country. Drumpf makes me sick. How in hell could any one vote for this Low Life. He makes me want to destroy any thing with his name on it. Is there not one sane person left in the GOP?

    9
  10. Polite Kool Marxist says:

maryelle, in defense of Donnie Drumpf, he does know a little bit about having affairs with foreigners; he even marries them.

    10
  11. Establishment Repubs have endorsed Trump because they are afraid of losing the election.

They should be more afraid of winning it.

And I suspect that many are. I wonder how many Trump endorsers will secretly vote for Clinton rather than see Trump as the leader of the GOP for the next 4 years.

    11
  12. He thinks no one has the right to criticize him. I swear, when he was a little kid somebody should have taught him that the sun does NOT shine out of his ass.

And if he’s read the Constitution, it was with as much attention as the average loudmouth fake Christian has read the Bible. He said recently that he’d defend Article 1, Article 6, Article 12…. whatever the numbers were. Moron, they only go up to 7.

And when (if) he tries to debate Clinton, I hope they have moderators with decency, guts, and a sense of public responsibility who will say as often as necessary, “Mr. Trump, that was a whopping lie.”

    12
  13. Someone said, “It’s a free country. You have the right to utter stupid, bigoted, misogynistic, lying foolishness, and we all have the right to tell you that you’re a stupid, bigoted, misogynistic lying fool.”

    13
  14. Marcia in CO says:

Tom somebody on MSNBC this morning, defending Dumbo Donny’s idiocy since he is involved with Dumbo’s campaign, said with conviction that … “… the NFL will reschedule their games for Donald!” There, folks, is the audacity of hope!!

Wish I could recall Tom’s last night … fat with glasses, has more chins then a walrus … kinda resembles a walrus, actually!!

    14
  15. Linda Phipps says:

Alacrity … Trump doesn’t need to read the constitution, he has people to do that for him, boil the best parts into 140 character bites, and publish them in the Enquirer.

    15
  16. And yet, even after all these “denunciations” by McConnell and McCain, they still endorse this walking, talking waste of skin.

    16
  17. Linda Phipps says:

I have been quite enchanted by the news that one of Trumps long time friends and advisors has put forth the claim that Mr. Khan is actually a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and that his son was possibly planning a suicide mission against his comrades. Not only does Trump have people to read things for him, he has people to fling his feces as well.

    17
  18. Touche, PKM, his affairs with foreigners are legendary, but lack stability, I fear.

    18
  19. Alacrity Fitzhughe@4: Your comment instantly reminded me of this exchange from A fish called Wanda. Otto: don’t call me stupid. Wanda: calling you stupid is an insult to stupid people. But you think you’re an intellectual don’t you ape? Otto: apes don’t read Nietzsche. Wanda: yes they do Otto. They just don’t understand it! I edited for length. The rest is really good. It’s on the quotes page at imdb.com.

    19
  20. Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump……The Tortoise and the “Hair”

    20
  21. Linda Phipps, I think whoever said that should have to wear it on a signboard around their neck for at least the next ten years so that everyone they encounter will know immediately what they are. If they say anything remotely comparable, another ten years. And so on.

    21
  22. e platypus onion says:

Drumpf stopped reading the constitution before he got to the !st amendment part about free speech for everyone.

    22
  23. What Trump did to a Gold Star family and a Gold Star mother was tantamount to spitting on the flag. Tell that to anyone who gets in your face in defense of the utterly indefensible.

    23
  24. Lunargent says:

Yup, Donnie reads for sound bites, not comprehension.

    24
  25. You know, I think I understand… something, better now.

Drumpf sincerely doesn’t understand the difference between a government position and one in the private sector. In private we are allowed the freedom of whatever our heart’s desire. In public, how *others* are treated matters, and the Press is designed to capture every last drop of sweat that isn’t protected by something like national security.

And for once Drumpf is in a position where someone *else* gets to have power. No matter how weak we are as individuals, collectively *WE* can tell him “He’s Fired”. He just can’t handle that!

    What
    A
    Maroon!

    25
  26. Marcia in CO says:

OK … clarification of #1 by me: This is the dipwad that thinks he NFL will adjust their schedule to fit Dumbo Donny’s debate schedule!

National Co-Chairman and Policy Advisor Sam Clovis
(announced Aug. 25, 2015) Clovis served as Iowa chair of Rick Perry’s campaign (announced June 6, 2015 +; departure reported by AP on Aug. 25, 2015). In the 2011-12 caucus campaign he endorsed Rick Santorum +. Professor of economics at Morningside College and the director of the Col. Bud Day Center for Civic Engagement. Republican nominee for Treasurer of Iowa in 2014, losing to incumbent Mike Fitzgerald; candidate for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in the June 3, 2014 primary. Radio talk show host in the Siouxland market on KSCJ 1360 AM. Private sector experience including division manager for the Logicon Corporation. 25-year Air Force veteran, achieving the rank of full colonel. Doctorate in public administration from University of Alabama; M.B.A. from Golden Gate University; B.S. in political science from the Air Force Academy, 1971.

    26
  27. Marcia in CO says:

Actually .. that would have been in the #14 spot … I thought it was Tom someone … ooops .. it was SAM CLOVIS.

  28. JAKvirginia says:

OK. It’s official now. The snacilbupeRs are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

    P.I.T.Y.

    28
  29. Sooo, just in case anyone in here happens to talk to friends or family who have drunk the kool aid that the repugnantcan party has become, get ready for this. Right wing watch reported that Trump ally Roger Stone is pushing a new conspiracy theory that Khan is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and his son was planning a suicide attack on his fellow soldiers.

    29
  30. JAKvirginia says:

P.P.: Well, now… Without proof, I’d say we just crossed out of free speech into the realm of defamation. And this will NOT sit well with Gold Star families and vets. Where’s that graphic with the Trump jet heading toward the ground? Time for a redux.

    30
  31. Old Fart says:

I HATE that it is way too easy to drop to Drumpf’s level of discourse. So, I guess I shall go high road:

Thank you, again, to the Kahn family for teaching ALL OF US what our rights mean, and what they should mean to us!

    31
  32. Just once during this Khan situation wish some media moron with one working brain cell mention all the names he has called our President, HRC, other GOP candidates, women and other correspondents. That they don’t confounds and angers me. Also wish some working correspondent would ask Trump HIS definition of sacrifice – it is clearly not the definition in Websters.

    32
  33. Polite Kool Marxist says:

JAKvirginia, the snacilbupeR never learn via the feedback loop. Just like that st00pid moron who “doctored” the Planned Parenthood video, or that border genie-ass and maker of phony films, or Roger Stone, they don’t learn until a judge snaps them on the snout and provides them with a little iron bar meditation time.

Then again, it didn’t do much for Dinesh D’Souza. Maybe if they PAID for their meditation time, the moochers like the Bundy clowns would appreciate it more.

    33
  34. McCain said, in reference to Trump’s attacks on the Khans, “the remarks do not represent the views of our Republican Party, its officers or candidates.”

I’ve got news for McCain. If you endorse someone to be the President then he does represent your views.

    34
  35. JAKvirginia says:

The WaPo today. Mrs. Kahn responds. You might cry. I did.

    35
  36. Marcia in CO says:

@Marlene, #32: Here is Dumbo Donald’s idea of sacrifice:

“Trump, a property mogul and former reality TV star, brushed off Khan’s words in an interview on Saturday with ABC News, stating that he thinks he has made “a lot of sacrifices”.

“I work very, very hard. I’ve created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I’ve had tremendous success. I think I’ve done a lot,” the 70-year-old said.”

So, Mr. Kahn was correct, Dumbo has sacrificed nothing or any one!! Yeah, way to go, Dumbo!!!

    36
  37. buskyandme says:

In a 1997 interview with shock jock Howard Stern, Trump talked about how he had been “lucky” not to have contracted diseases when he was sleeping around. … “It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier.”

    37
  38. JAKvirginia says:

buskyandme: And the women he was with feel the same way, too. They went through The Battle of the (Little) Bulge.

    38
  39. Polite Kool Marxist says:

buskyandme, thanks for that. I don’t believe Donnie on that matter, either. Now I want him to send his tax returns to the IRS and send a pint of his blood to the CDC.

Yet, Donnie wants 30,000+ of Hilz’ e-mails relating to Chelsea’s wedding. Fine. Wanna make it personal, Donnie? Then let’s see your two divorce decrees and your current pre-nup.

    39
  40. During one of my extremely infrequent times watching the news, I saw the interview where to which Marcia refers. Can’t remember who the interviewer was, but he looked stunned and responded appropriately to drumpf, to the effect: you actually believe that was a sacrifice?

@buskyandme. I was going to post that sickening bit yesterday. Read the whole article, if you can stomach it, at The Daily Beast:

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/16/draft-dodger-trump-said-sleeping-around-was-my-personal-vietnam.html

  41. Bob in Bartlett says:

When I saw the headline, my first thought was, “Oh God, someone call the EPA!! It’s raining toxic waste!”

    41
  42. e platypus onion says:

Not sure he hasn’t sacrificed something. After the election, win or lose, I’m curious to see if Drumpf bills the nation for the time Drumpf spent campaigning. Maybe he will send a bill demanding more money for his family’s sacrifices so he could run.

    42
  43. It should be obvious to all that Trump is in panic mode. He is terrified because he’s running out of groups to insult and attack to ensure that he will never be president. Who’s left for him to fight with?
