Hey, DC Politicians – The Kids are Coming for You

February 18, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Fun With Guns

Saturday, March 24, Washington DC.  This will be the scene of the March for Our Lives, and organization started by the high school kids who survived the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last Wednesday in Parkland Florida.  Inaction by craven politicians like John Cornyn, Ted Cruz, and many others have put our children’s lives at risk by allowing easy access to weapons of war by criminals and the mentally unstable.  If you doubt the intensity of this effort, I encourage you to watch this.

  1. Careful now.
In the past after a mass slaughter when the call for gun laws the thuglicans have responded with new gun laws that loosen any restrictions on guns everywhere.
Not just on Federal level but on state levels as well.
On federal levels guns in national parks was approved after a mass butchery so we can expand the killing fields.
So beware the thuglican congress doesn’t complete the railroad job that require the states to recognize and honor concealed carry weapon permits across state lines.
So some quivering in his boots coward ( and be honest thats what these conceal carry dildos are cowards afraid to face the world without something to murder others with) from one of the traitor states coming to California or Hawaii and deciding that states full of people of color are nothing more then stocked game farms for them to indulge in their murder fantasies.
Combine that with a Federal “stand your ground”, aka right for caucausians to murder any of the “others” with impunity, laws and we are truly up the crick.
First let the insurance companies help disarm the child murderer enablers. Require any gun owner to carry unlimited liability insurance on every gun. Mandate that policies are attached to the gun not the owner. So for every gun it requires a different policy. No “fleet” discounts for demented owners who “need” to own 17 or more guns otherwise they will die of dehydration since they will always be soiling their pants out of fear, that is what cowards do.
Any time some one takes a gun where it doesn’t belong (i.e. airports) if unloaded mandatory a year and a day in prison -general population no special treatment- $10,000 fine confiscation of all weapons in the homes the person resides in whether those weapons are theirs or not. They must surrender for mandatory destruction.
If loaded 2 years in prison $20,000 fine.
Count as a strike under any 3 strikes law.
No such thing as an accidental discharge. Any time weapon goes off around other people ( even if on other side of sheetrock wall) it is prosecuted as assualt with a deadly weapon. If some is hit and lives attempted murder, if they die 1st degree murder. No plea bargains, probation, extending circumstances or deferred prosecution allowed.
    Arrest and prosecution is mandatory.
None of these ideas would infringe upon the delusional 2nd amendment rights those ideological dingdongs on the supreme court discovered after 200 years of jurisprudence defining the 2nd amendment as a communal right to be regulated ( or not) by each state. That the ideology of the 4th raters on scotus required them to erase according to orders they received from their political and financial owners the nra.

    ps. Dream on
declare the nra and federalist society terrorist orgs. Seize all assets and ban any members from working in any government on any level.

  2. Good stuff, K!

    And that’ll be the day!

Maybe it will dawn because of the Parkland kids who aren’t afraid to swear at the President, or anyone else for that matter.

    2
  3. k, I like the way you think. The NRA is a terrorist organization; one that TRAINED the perpetrator of this latest outrage, by way of a $10,000 grant to his school.

  4. David Hogg has had to grow up faster than usual. I don’t know if the Florida legislature has age limits, but when he’s 25 he can run for Congress. When he’s 30 he can run for the Senate. He ought to do so. Especially since he’s taking an environmental science course, which puts him ahead of a great many pols who don’t have a clue about that subject vital to our lives.

I can’t vote for him but if I ever find out he’s running I’ll donate.

  7. The Children’s Crusade has to have a monumental effect on those shameful puppets of the NRA and remind Dems to stand up for them.

    7
  8. k, right on. I’ve been saying for years that the insurance companies ought to jump all over a mandate for liability insurance, and I like your idea of putting it on every gun. Also the change from “accident” to “attempted murder.”

I typically suggest a “weapons of mass destruction” analogy: on mine, I had to pass written and practical tests to be licensed, I have to be able to prove that I carry liability insurance, I have to have my “weapon” inspected for safety every year, and I have to pay for annual registration. If I have to do all that for my “weapon of mass destruction,” why shouldn’t gun owners?

    8
  9. Thank You
And yes inspections and relicenseing tests should be require.
Another place where insurance should be required is for police officers. Time to stop them free loading on the tax payer to pat for their bad behavior.
Require all police officers to get personal malpractice insurance paid by themselves. I beleive there are some jurisdictions requiring this already.
If we can’t get the bad cops off the street let the insurance companies bankrupt those repeat offenders with higher and higher premiums.

    9
  10. @Rhea
Yep. I hope to live long enough to vote for David Hogg for president. Unlikely, I know, but still a goal.

    10
  11. k: YES to all! And could we please call this domestic terrorism?

    11
  12. The clients of this establishment have long been clamoring for “moron insurance” of the type k describes, but the push to ban assault weapons has to be a prime goal as well. It won’t have a chance until the Blue Wave sweeps out Rethug control of the government and Trump with it, so unfortunately there is still time for more tragedies to occur. Even more reason to get out the vote and keep this issue current.

  13. Is a Houston March planned? When/where?

    13
  14. Juanita Jean Herownself says:

Yes, Deb, Houston is marching. Saturday, March 24th at 11:00 am at city hall. https://www.facebook.com/events/191745114753073/

  15. Paul A Haupt says:

At least the “children” exhibit some common sense, unlike their elected representatives. Everyone has to vote against anyone who takes money from the NRA. The time to act on gun control legislation is NOW.
