Hell, I’ll Buy The Ticket

March 31, 2014 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Honey, there’s times when I’ll pay a buck to see a show.

Movie star (I can’t bring myself to say actor) Steven Seagal, who joined with Sheriff Joe Arpaio at the Birther Ball, has now decided that rightwing politics are more at home in Russia.

Action movie star Steven Seagal said in an interview with the Moscow Times that he is in favor of Russia’s military action in Crimea and that he may someday emigrate to the former Soviet Union.

According to Atlantic magazine’s The Wire blog, Seagal called Putin “one of the great world leaders” and said he “would like to consider him as a brother.”

Seriously, I’ll buy the one way ticket.  Does he want to take Sheriff Joe with him?

Seagal says that he “might” apply for Russian citizenship.

I was listening for his fellow right-wingers to denounce him.  You wanna know what I hear?  Crickets.

Be social and share!

  6. So funny when one of those guys who just loves our Constitution like crazy wants to move to a country that doesn’t have one.

  7. Russia has a constitution. It ignores it on a regular basis in favor of the plutocrats who actually run the country.

Sagal lost his mind years ago. Let him go. We’d be better off if we let him and his ilk go and never let them return.

  8. Seagal is embodying the view that these hardcore rightists want the world to resemble the realm of the Russian mafia czars.

Seriously, even in our wildest dreams, did anyone ever think people who called themselves Patriots would hitch their horse to an old Soviet KGB egomaniac?

There goes that gohmert dog whistle, again. Another one falls out of the closet. These fictional action ‘heroes’ prefer a fascist pasty white guy with a paunch.

They keep talking about “freedom”, while praising Putin. I do not think the word freedom means what Steven Seagal thinks it means.

Seagal has come to believe he is the righteous superman he always played. Experiencing life in Russia would be just the education this “deputy sherriff” needs.

Maybe we oughta take up a donation to buy that one way ticket.

  16. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Cheaper to charter a plane and raffle off tickets, Marge Wood. First stop, Texas to load up the war criminals, on to LAX to load the st00pid, stop at The Hague to lighten the load, then on to Moscow. Second flight needed to load the TX st00pid. We can bus in those from surrounding states for the second flight.

You and Juanita Jean can hold the funds, if you’ll reserve a hundred tickets for my choices.

Years ago when I was living in Phoenix and before I retired back home to Southern AZ, I saw Segal interviewed by a local TV station. He came across as the most arrogant bastard I’ve ever seen interviewed. He may have been there helping Sheriff Jose apprehend commies infiltrating through the border. Apparently Joe missed one?

I am willing to pitch in with you JJ to buy those two idiots (Joe & Steven) one way tickets to Russia.

  22. Um, there are scads of people amongst the Rethugs who have actually never heard of this guy nor would they ever have attended one of his movies even if you bribed them with free popcorn. His career if you wanna call it that zeroed out years ago when he divorced wife named Kelly, a former model also rated back then as one of the hottest women on the planet. Seriously, his bad marriages after that coincided with bad films and bad income level. He was also hassled by the Japanese Yakusa, their version of the Mafia. Frankly, if he really does decamp for Russia, it will only prove that is the place where losers go to hide. And good riddance!
