My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Winners! All of them! Just viewed a really well done video supported by the University of Mississippi about a guy who walked the southern border from the Bay of California to the Gulf of Mexico. there was plenty in that film about the wall, parts of which were shown in the film. And I do mean part. Thats all there is. Lots of local people shown on the film. They were erudite and savvy and i learned a lot more about crossing the border out of desperation and the immigration laws of the U.S. than I ever did from books. Of course, it was shown on a PBS type station. If you can find it in your area, its worth your time.
