Chris Christie

July 03, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Chris Christie decided to take his 15% approval rating out for a day on the beach.

Here’s the deal.  Christie shut down the government in New Jersey over a budget standoff.  That meant all the beaches and state parks are closed over the 4th of July weekend.  You know, to everybody except … Chris Damn Christie.

Land Beach State Park was closed by Christie’s showdown.  So Christie and his family were the lucky winners of a whole beach all to themselves. They are using the summer beach house provided by the state for a weekend down at the shore.

Christie, who first disclosed his weekend plans on Monday, said Sunday he was taking the state helicopter to go back and forth between Island Beach State Park and Trenton.

When asked if it was fair that he got the whole island to himself, Christie responded, “Run for governor, and you can have a residence there.”

  1. This is part of his big “F-you” since he’s terming out and can’t be defeated in the 2017 election. Too bad. It would be satisfying to see him thrown out on his big fat ear.

  2. Japanese whaling trawlers have been spotted in the vicinity. They think they found a research subject that beached himself…

    2
  3. Even his Lt Gov is furious. “I have no words.”

Oh, I have a lot of words, but Mama won’t allow about 98% of them.

(I had to check the story, because it sounds just like a “fake news” item planted by someone wanting to paint the GOP gov as giving everybody in NJ both middle fingers and his butt salute. But then, he really IS giving NJ the…. No paint required.)

    3
  4. Side note to JJ: Thanks to a Texan from a former Philly kid for your correct expression “down the shore.”

Well what do you expect from the deliverer of Bridgegate? Free Wise Potato Chips of whaaat?
I grew up in Juorsey. For millions of people from miles around the Jersey ‘Shore’ was the place to be.

And Crispy the beached whale is just a minor league Trump in the ‘big picture’.

Hundreds of thousands of people who wanted to go to the NJ beaches this weekend, little kids, NJ citizens, people from NYC, PA, wherever, had to stay home.
And all the businesses and vendors who depend on the tourists, especially at holidays, for their incomes. Plus, the lost tax revenue too.
    It’s focking hilarious!

And this ‘elitist’ cetacean and his fam&friends sun their worthless hides on A NJ CITIZENS taxpayer-owned beach, with free taxpayer helo transport too.
    Hell, let’s just re-instate a monarchy, eh?

NJites (NJians?) should be importing a borrowed genuine French guillotine real soon now. For making a chopped Caesar’s christichicken salad. (enough to feed a multitude, see the story of this cannibal dude from Rockport, TX (went to high school): http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Cannibal-Killer-Back-in-the-News-97173389.html )
    .

Was about to send this in to the Salon too.
I read it and couldn’t stop laughing at the unmitigated gall of these Repukes. And Christi is just a very pale imitation of what Trump himself has had handed to him, or grifted, all these years.
Will the Repuke “base” ever wake the fock up?

Might could be we picked up some new Dem voters in NJ.

And, he is getting meme’d all over the inter-tubes, photo shopped onto various beaches, including the last scene from Planet of the Apes. LOL

  10. See my name? In the thick of it. The budget standoff is because Christie wants to raid the reserves of the largest health insurer in the state to fund a pet project. It’s not legal to do that and legislators are understandably balking. Our health insurance is from that company and you bet I’m balking too– premiums would rise to the moon if Christie has his way.

    10
  11. What could anyone possibly expect? Short of morals, short of mind. They don’t even have any idea what “optics” are! Frankly,
I think he and the Barking Yam were separated at birth.

Just when we thought our eyes had recovered from Donnie in tennis togs, the weekend news is filled with that image of the Outlaw Jersey Whale aka Gov Cartman. Please. Quick. Someone kick sand in my eyes.

Would someone also please inform those cake eating, sand sucking losers that in America a monarch is supposed to be a butterfly; not an elected official. Oy vey in the family of Nymphalidae, once again a word doesn’t mean what Chris and Donnie thought it meant.

  16. Jane & PKM says:

slipstream, Ahab switched teams. In fact he split into millions of pieces to become a piece of every snacilbupeR in the hunt to destroy democracy. Meanwhile Moby Dick is now two dicks; one on the Jersey shore and the other at his golf course de jour.

Donnie, Chris just raised your covfefe one assfefe!

  17. Sandridge says:

If I were sailing off the Jersey coast I’d make a little detour to the vicinity of IBPark, in order to empty the boat’s holding tanks there*.
    .

    * (It’s perfectly legal to dump your head holding tanks offshore, but there is a minimum distance off (except would gladly stuff it this once), either 3 or 12 miles, need to look that up. I gave up on the standard boat’s flush head, holding tank, plumbing system, too much mtce, repair, cleaning; switched to the composting heads: easier, less hassle (but in a locker I carry a nice camp-type commode for a backup). No big holding tanks, just some dumpable containers of —- and —-, heheh.)

  19. As many people pointed out above:
    WHALE ON THE BEACH!

Let’s not forget how many valuable state resources may have been wasted yesterday, when likely dozens of mistaken calls were placed to civil authorities attempting to help the poor creature.

They no doubt begged that the Coast Guard or NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife drag the creature to safety for it’s own good, or perhaps determine a way in which it could be put out of it’s own self inflicted misery.

  20. Jane & PKM says:

Rhea, from our friends in Germany and Chancellor Merkel, a few words even Mama can endorse: “mein gott in himmel!” That’s the German version of the Texan “bless his heart” expression.

But seriously, until we can muster enough pitchforks and people willing to use them, our American oligarchs need daily reminders of what happened to the Romanovs. Or, we could simply treat our fat cats like feral cats. Spaying and neutering can be effective in controlling an invasion of an obnoxious species.

    24
  25. oldymoldy says:

of course, i don’t know much about this sort of thing, being not so gainfully employed ‘n’all. but i can’t get it out of my head that a governor whose state is in a bit of a, shall we say, pickle, might be too busy to hang out at the beach!

i know it’s redundant… CLUELESS! worse yet, more likely simple obstinance! … “FU, NJ, I’ll be out’a here next year! And you won’t!

Or, google. Certainly somewhere on the innertubes there are Chris and Donnie pants available in a nice shady beach umbrella version suitable for a huge family reunion.

That ^ sign is for you Gov Cartman. The Outlaw Jersey Whale strikes again like other snacilbupeR fiscal conservatives. Shut down the state beaches thus denying revenue to the state. Business for vendors = income and tax dollars, too, ya overinflated moron.

Nice story about the toy panda.

Like what was said about feral cats and fat cats. Another thought. Cat is a favorite of coyotes and coy wolves. Just trap the fat cat and feed to coyotes or coywolves. Be sure that fat cat is disease free as I wouldn’t like to see sick coyotes or coy wolves. Now about mounds of blubber (traitor trump and Christie), those are best fed to great white sharks, and other deep water predators. Or large swarm of jellyfish.

Apologies Rhea and y’all. Hope this jpeg gives a better view. It’s a banner plane trolling the Outlaw Jersey Whale, demanding he get off the beach. Meanwhile, after losing revenue for the state and vendors for two days, word is Gov Numbnutz is opening the beaches. D’oh. D’uh and a real muffed bunt by the bridge closer and wannabee beach bogart.

Tilphousia, we like your thinking. Great show on the Animal Planet Channel: River Monsters. So many deserving fish that need feeding with the capability to digest those snacilbupeR bottom feeders.

    BEACHED OUTLAW JERSEY WHALE!

Can’t believe the nobody on this site hadn’t used that exact phrase yet.

Anyhoo, I still hope that at some point in the future, Christie will get around to accomplishing more of the Hurricane Sandy cleanup, which has languished for years. I’m thinking a future beach visit would feature him toting a trash bag and pointy stick, while wearing an orange jumpsuit. Bridgegate ain’t over yet, I’m hoping. And displays of utter arrogant jerkdom like this beach stunt help rekindle the hatred he’s inspired in so many.

    37
  38. Update– beaches likely to reopen today, as Gov Tub O’Lard blinked and compromised. His political career after office is nil anyway. He had nothing to gain by digging in, and at least he avoids having rotten garbage thrown at him when he leaves office wherever he goes. He’s so toxic I doubt he’ll get a job at any law firm but ambulance-chaser and even those might balk.

    38
  39. Great posts, y’all! I agree with everyone of them. As for getting rid of the Jersey Whale right now, what is the lt. governor like? Would he/she be an improvement? Sure hope so. I once had family and friends in NJ. I now can understand why they left.

NOAA is forecasting either Tropical Storm Don and then, even Hurricane Don. Only fair if this storm matriculates that it be named after maelstrom Donnie. Heckuva job, Donnie. Plans for your Dubya moment without a FEMA director? In addition to FEMA, the Dolt45 maladministration still has no NASA and NOAA administrator either.

Praise the deities and the almighty Spaghetti Monster, may this predicted Donnie take landfall at Mari-Land of Grift, then promptly head out to sea safely with Donnie’s scalp and hair weave attached. Even a level five Saffir-Simpson scale wind cannot be expected to lift Dolt45 and his corpulent carcass out to sea.

I see the flap did cause CC to sign the budget, so some good did come of this. My question is what with money being tight, out of what “fund” were the police paid to turn away traffic to the beaches. Surely this increased presence was not voluntary and would have taken personnel away from their normal patrols.
