Authorities are still searching for two white males driving a red Ford Ranger.
Police said the two suspects allegedly fired from the vehicle at the soldiers and then fled.
Members of the Forrest County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Forestry Commission helped assist in the search.

And they didn’t hit anybody. Which I’m glad for, but it does indicate that not only are the fear-biters at Jade Helm stupid, they’re also lousy shots. They will not fare well if they get the civil war so many of them seem to want.

15When I verbalize this rant I get it from my little bride as well. Lincoln was a nice guy. A Johnson executed Lincoln’s preference. From my view they were both wrong. These southerners today do not acknowledge that their treasonous ancestors’ rebellion was quelled and that their cause was defeated. If these rank and file soldiers had seen their treason committing generals and politicians swinging from gallows as they returned home in utter defeat, the story they told of the rebellion would likely have been quite different. Instead we have schools and military installations named after treason committing criminals. I call bull$hit on such.
This is as appalling as it was inevitable.
