And, Again, Trump Doesn’t Have Any Idea What That Word Means

March 16, 2017 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, so this week two additional federal judges ruled against Trump’s immigration plan.

Trump’s statement?

“This is, in the opinion of many, an unprecedented judicial overreach. … This ruling makes us look weak,” the president declared before appearing to vow to take the issue to the Supreme Court.

Thing #1:  Uh, it’s not unprecedented and do you want to know why?  Because a judge ruled against it two weeks ago. To be unprecedented, it has to have never happened before.

But then again, maybe he meant unpresidented.  Yeah, he probably did mean that.

Thing #2:  Makes “us” look weak?  No, Honey, it makes you look weak. It makes you look like you make crazybutt statements and promises that you cannot keep because you’re weak.

Thanks to Bryan for the heads up.

  1. Trump is a coward and so are his supporters. He’s trying to turn the entire US into a prison with his walls and his inhibitive borders. He’s a big bully and I’m hoping someone is going to bloody his nose and the rest of the republican cabal. Impeach and jail him and throw the rest of the corrupt crooks out of office (not just those in congress but also those in the various federal agencies that Trump appointed.)

I wouldn’t put it past that traitor Trump or Bannon to plan some attack against the US to prove he was right about his “immigration plan”.

  3. Just as I predicted, the Sopranos are in the White House. Expect nothing but Soprano type idiocy. Translation: I know we used to be a nation of hope, but nowadays, just don’t get them to high. For that matter, find a safe place for them to hide for the duration.

Orange Foolius needs to be “unpresidented,” as in make him stop, make him go away, lock him up, and impeach his crazy imperialist wannabe orange tie dyed hide with mystery material(s) comb over mop.

  5. It makes him look crazy, not weak. And stupid.
The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result.

  6. John Dean, of Watergate fame, thinks Trump is scary. He puts Nixon at 6 or 7 on an authoritarian scale and Trump at 10. (And check out Dean’s recent photo– at first glance I thought it was Bernie Sanders after a combing and some chamomile tea.)

Diane – actually, that’s the definition of insanity. Whatever; semantics.

What makes him look weak is the irrational fear that results in things like 5-year-old boys being detained at airports, nor US citizens being detained and interrogated before re-entry at the Canadian border. Weakness is holding yet another vanity rally, instead of a press conference.Weakness is taking every weekend off, while thousands of appointed positions go unfilled, and the government languishes.

Trump is a weak, vain, lazy, foolish man. He cares for nothing, except to “rule” as our de facto King. Or to appear to. Unfortunately, as long as he’s given that public facade, it doesn’t matter that in fact he will be The King of Dust and Ashes. Because the people that he’s allowing to actually run things are set on extinction. Of America, and of a lot of us living here. It’s easy to “resist” now, while people are still free to do it with no real consequences. I’m worried how long that will last.

There’s a sci-fi show called “Colony”, on USA. It’s premised on an alien invasion. But the concepts of control, collaboration, and resistance that drive the narrative are scarily relevant. You all might want to check it out.

Lunargent: The despot’s meme: If I’m winning, you’re winning. It never measures out that way, but stupid fools have been buying that crap for centuries.

Did alot of reading on Napoleon some time ago. What a jerk. During his time reigning the French lost 1 million men and boys in wars. Out of a population of 12-14 million, that’s a significant number. A contemporary analyst put the cost of his wars at between 7 to 10 TRILLION dollars in today’s money. And the list of the devastation he caused is practically endless. He spent his final years in exile blaming everyone else. But, yet, the French gave him a place of high honor in Les Invalides because of gloire [glory] for the French people. Sigh.

Foolishness and stupidity is not the realm of only Americans. It’s an inherently human trait apparently.

Trump is an evil deranged psychopath. And he lies whenever he opens his drooling mouth. But he IS weak and the World knows it. His drugged mind is coming up with every and any delusional thought available. Traitor trump and his cult must be impeached and imprisoned in the most remote SHU the Feds have before he destroys our planet. BTW, after 5pm he turns his work phone off and puts it in a drawer so those listening will have a harder time hearing him talk on other phones, etc. That shows how mentally traitor trump is. I wonder where he puts his tinfoil hat.
