Voter Fraud Is Real, Y’all!

October 29, 2016 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Y’all, it’s real and it’s happening right here in ‘Merica!  In Iowa!

article-voter-1-1028A Des Moines woman has been arrested on suspicion of voting twice this month in the general election, police and court records show.

Terri Lynn Rote, 55, was booked into the Polk County Jail about 3:40 p.m. Thursday on a first-degree election misconduct charge, which is a Class D felony.

Rote, a registered Republican, reportedly cast an early voting ballot at the Polk County Election Office, 120 Second Ave., and another ballot at a county satellite voting location in Des Moines, according to a Des Moines police report.

Computers are like magic.  (I guess she got lost on her way to a third polling place.)

I think I’ve told you before that we’ve had two cases of voter fraud in my county and both were by Republicans.  One of them was running for office when he did it.

Republicans:  Fraud is their middle name.

No, No, Wait. Deplorable Is His Name.

So a guy in New Braunfels, Texas, got in trouble for trying to vote while wearing a Donald Trump hat and a Deplorable tee-shirt.

He refused to turn his shirt inside out before voting.

Mauthe was asked by poll workers to remove the Trump hat, and he complied, the man told KSAT 12 News. But when they asked him to turn his “deplorables” T-shirt inside out, he refused.

“He wanted to take a stand,” Bulverde Police Chief Gary Haecker told the Herald-Zeitung. “Unfortunately, he was arrested.”

Chief Haecker made it real clear where he stood on this issue.

“I went up there and talked to him. I told him, ‘I support you and I appreciate what you’re doing. It’s your right, but you’re going about it the wrong way here.’ The election code has very specific rules,” Haecker told the Herald-Zeitung. “These are the rules and you have to abide by the rules.”

Mauthe gave up his hat but stood firm on his tee-shirt.  He was booked into jail and paid his $700. bond.

Did they do a field sobriety test?

Thanks to Paul for the heads up.

Really? Really, Comey, Really?

Okay, here’s the deal – the emails are not from Hillary or to her.  They may be duplicates and Comey has not even seen them.

Matthew Miller, former Justice Department spokesman, rolled his eyes so far back in his head that he could see yesterday.

The news media went nuts, saying the investigation was “reopened.”

Actually, translated from the legalese, Comey said, “Hey, been missing me?  We discovered that Anthony Weiner’s wife used his computer once or maybe more, we don’t know for sure, and there’s some emails on there, none to or from Clinton.  We’re gonna get around to reading them pretty soon.  Just thought you’d want to know.  Have a nice weekend, y’all.”

I’m strongly considering becoming a cloistered nun.

Oh No. Oh Hell No. UPDATED!

What the hell, y’all?

The FBI will re-open its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, bureau director James Comey said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday.

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation … I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,” he wrote.

Well ain’t that a fancy October surprise?

I’m swamped today working with candidates so y’all keep me up to date, okay?

UPDATED:  Calmest and most reasonable explanation is here.

Local Stuff of National Interest

Katy, Texas, is a suburb of Houston and also does a little squatting in my county of Fort Bend.

Those people are nuts.  Seriously. That’s where that guy had the gun store that displayed anti-Obama crapola on his sign out front. They’re crazy.

I have proof of that.  They are a fast growing district with severe overcrowding problems but they have a new $72 million dollar football stadium.  In all honesty, it didn’t start that big, $58 million, but along the way they quietly added $12 million here, another $3 million there, another million to correct mistakes, and Lord only knows what the hell else.  It will be the most expensive high school football stadium in America.

And nobody seems to know how it happened.

There’s a new superintendent but the same school board (except for one new member).  Mostly, there’s no money for the 12 schools they need almost immediately.

Katy will go strongly Republican.  I just thought you’d like to know that.
