Quitit, dammit!

Dora, for all that is holy, quit doing this kind of stuff.  It’s illegal.  A t-post cost $3.00.  There are at least 20 of your signs in low income neighborhoods illegally attached to telephone polls. Right next to this sign was your opponent’s sign, complete with two t-posts.

Good Lord, Dora, HILLCO PAC gave you $1,500.  If you’re going to take dirty money, buy some damn t-post with it.

You took $100 from Texas Alliance for Life PAC. Buy some t-posts.

You took $500 from the creepy Texas Consumer Finance Association PAC.  Maybe they should have loaned you t-posts instead. You took $1,000 from Friends of Time Warner.  Could you get movies of t-posts?

I notice that during the last election season, you paid $426 to the Texas Highway Department to reclaim your illegal signs they confiscated.  Wouldn’t it be cheaper to Buy. Some. Damn. T-Posts?

  1. EClaire McLean says:

    T-post 101

Metal post between 5′ and 8′ tall, found at any farm supply store, most big box hardware store, feed store, etc. For signage, go with the 5′ ones. for exotic game fence go for the 8′ ones. Cows and horses are usually OK with the 6.5 ones.

T-posts are driven into the ground with a T-post driver. This is a heavy chunk of pipe with one end welded shut. Handles can and should be on either side of the pipe. Lift up over the up end of the T-post and smash it down as many times as it takes to drive the post in the ground. Do not drop on your foot.

Recycle t-posts. They last for years. Some on this ranch are easy 50 years old.

Why would anyone vote for someone too dumb to use Tposts?
